Chris Sutton on the BBC predicts 4-1 to Liverpool

The bin dipping tipster on sky who doesn't normally need to be asked twice to stick the boot into City has tipped 2-2... although to be fair he does predict scores based on value rather than football knowledge
I generally look at his predictions before the weekend for a bit of fun, I don't think he gets many right.

Phil Foden made a surprise appearance at the Royal Oak in Didsbury last night, he popped in to see one of the bar staff who works at the club.

Weirdly pressure is off us this game.....very few expect us to get even a draw let alone a win...I dont.

As Ive said before, this season needs to be treated as one where this teams cycle is at an end...Liverpools suffered it a couple of seasons back, finishing midtable - they regrouped, invested, bought wisely and improved...This is now what we need to do.
Huge summer for us and this season is one where we can enjoy the ride...hopefully watch our rivals get way too excited and in the summer we address the holes in the squad that are so clearly obvious and we come back even stronger.

Start with Ortega, Ederson hs been pretty meh down the years at Anfield.
Akanji has been missing too often at the back when we've been shipping goals...played at Sporting, Spurs and Feyenoord and was nowhere to be seen when the goals were flying in....seems to always avoid the flak as well.
We need a bit of strength and pace in midfield but who can offer that at the moment?....give Grealish a shot in central midfield at least he can scrap.
Backs to the wall performance and nick it on the break, it can be done.

What odds are bookmakers on? i just a lavish dinner tomorrow
