Pep could’ve made changes for this, to freshen things up, the fact Liverpool are different stylistically to Chelsea and so maybe he could’ve wanted different style players in there. Ultimately he’s kept it simple in team selection, this was the XI that won in fantastic fashion at Chelsea and is good enough to do the same at Anfield. Can’t disagree at this stage with that methodology.
 
The lack of an out and out striker still worries me but we should create plenty of opportunities today, hopefully we are clinical when the chances arrive.

Milner is old but he is solid, its blue tinted wishful thinking weirdness around an ex-city player to pretend he's a bad player.

I dont expect hes going to struggle with Grealish the way he would against pace, which is the one thing he lacked even when he was here.

If Cancelo pushes up and they try to make it a 3v1 things might get interesting in midfield because Fabinho will have to come over.
 
Really need grealish to produce today. He is the key man against their obvious weak link
