Liverpool: Are they and their media buddies deluded?

Ive just seen Sky showing clips of Liverpool players saying how they are still fighting for the top 4 spot and they also gave odds on Liverpool finishing 4th, looking at the table isn't it impossible for Liverpool to now finish fourth bearing in mind us or Spurs will pick up at least 1pt on Wed so barring a complete collapse against West Ham/ Burnley how can it happen? Yet they are still trying to make out Liverpool are in the race, I'm finding it quite comical now unless of course they know something we don't.

Seems very strange that still at this stage nobody has said ' Liverpool are out of it', does it hurt them that much to see their beloved Sky 4 broken up???

If we draw with Spurs and lose to West Ham and Spurs lose to Burnley and Liverpool win their last two games then they'll get 4th, so they're not out of it yet.

On Sky Sports Saturday Phil Thompson didn't look happy when Jeff Stelling showed the fixtures and contenders for 4th spot and didn't include Liverpool,so not everyone still thinks they are still in it.

Phil Thompson was apoplectic on Soccer Saturday when Liverpool were excluded from the Race for 4th caption. And then when asked what would happen between Us and Villa he said we'd both lose!?

I suppose he's wanting both us and Spurs to lose on Wednesday too. They might have a chance then.
