Liverpool could mathematically fiish fourth. And Hull, mathematically, could escape the drop. I suspect Hull have slightly more chance of that than Liverpool have of finishing fourth.

They'll be gone by 4 o'clock this evening anyway. They're already at 200/1, and I can't see them beating a Chelsea team who won 7-0 last week. Carragher shits himself up against Drogba. Even a point today and they'd be gone, and won't be able to finish higher than 6th. i fucking hate Liverpool, and really hope that they get hammered today.

I share those sentiments totally. Two of my funniest recent football moments are the Riise own goal against Chelsea in the 08 European Cup semi that silenced a portentous rendition of you'll never walk alone, and Atletico dicking them the other night. I love it when 'great european nights at anfield'(tm) go tits up.
