Liverpool Away tickets on sale tues 20/09 - 9am

The first window will have been anyone on 26k+ points and the 18-25 allocation, which sold out in about 45 seconds. But I do agree that there's way more on 26k+ than people realise.

Also found it interesting that in Block 124 there were 667 left however the larger Block 123 only had around 50 left at 9am. Why would they bunch all the cooperates/tourists together in one block.
You're assumption of the amount of people with over 26000 points is way off, their are no more than 200 people who fall into that category.
The bigger question is why were block 123 and 122 virtually sold out before they went onsale at 0900am this morning.
I know there are a lot of restricted views to come onsale later but no way did the agreed 60% of tickets (approx 1600 tickets) go onsale to loyalty point holders, this morning

Here is the answer to the bigger question from the OS

The Club has received an allocation of 2,936 tickets, including 12 wheelchair bays and a number of tickets for ambulant supporters.

From this allocation, the following groups will receive tickets for this match: Season Ticket Members, Seasonal Hospitality Members, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners and the Man City Supporters Club.

I suspect that those two blocks my have been allocated to Seasonal Hospitality Members, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players and Club Partners. If you take the 60% supposedly that should go to points holders and I think the 10% that goes to the branches that leaves, in this case, 880 tickets. Given that one of those blocks holds over 800 seats alone then I think it is safe to say 60% didn't go to points. Here is a link for the seat counters https://3ddigitalvenue.com/3dmap/clients/liverpool/

As the club keeps introducing new club partners does that allocation just get diluted or are their tickets taken from elsewhere?

I stopped going to most away games when they introduced the Points system. I thought it would be decisive from the start, which has proved to be the case.

Posted on another thread but thought I’d try my luck here too…

My question isn’t exactly relevant to this thread but I’m hoping someone can help me. I’m hoping to travel to Europe next year and would love nothing more than to watch a game at the Etihad at the start of next season. Problem is, I’ve got no clue what to do to secure a ticket and I’d like to make sure I’m prepared so I don’t miss out when it gets closer to the time.

Could anyone give me some advice/guidance on what to do to get a ticket? Any other recommendations considering I’ve never been to the Etihad before? Thanks so much!

You've genuinely stopped going to away games as much because people argue about it on Bluemoon?
That’s just one factor but it took the edge off “big games” for me knowing there’s Blues who wouod sell their Grannies for a ticket. You wouldn’t believe some of the states people were in pestering me for help with a ticket.

Another factor is that I got a bit fed up of being ruined the following day lol.

I get to plenty of sport. If you want to see an outstanding atmosphere have a look on YouTube at the Leeds Rhinos support at Wigan on Friday night or Salford RLs support at Huddersfield the week earlier. They are better atmospheres than we have managed at an away game in donkeys.

Buy a Citizen’s membership and that gives you access to tickets for all but the biggest games. Make sure when you plan your trip the fixture date/time is confirmed because they get changed for TV. Most home Cup games(domestic and European) go on open sale from the club. There are Facebook pages where you can always buy a ticket at face value.

Here we go again with the discussion on how wrong it is that someone with few points in an SC will get a ticket. It is wrong and the branches should be held accountable as to who is receiving the tickets.
Not saying whether it's right or wrong but supporters clubs got tickets long before the points system came in.

The OSC would argue that after years of supporting the club at away games by selling tickets to members and taking coach loads, they feel badly done to that they now only get a few hundred tickets.

I'm shocked at how quickly this is selling. It is really unusual to have so few tickets left after only 3 windows. I smell a rat!!! As it stands, there are 161 seats left on sale and not dropped below 24000 points! This fixture traditionally sells slow as well.

Price of success I'm afraid attracts corporate money who in return want tickets for big games, with a bit of luck it will reach my points total.

But if you carried on going when the points system was introduced you'd have not had a problem getting tickets for pretty much any game

They were an awful lot of faces i'd not seen before at Wolves on Saturday the18 to 25 allocation must stretch a long way, lot of selfie takers from God knows where as well. Again price of success, better this than being able to walk in ticket office and pick up as many as you wanted and us being crap though.

Thanks to those that let me know the opening allocation. I'll be asking for each away match, perhaps i should start a thread just to capture this information. I'm going to stay out of the debate at the moment on fairness with respect to the allocation across different groups. Right now there is a lot of speculation on how much is allocated to points holders, hopefully this removes some of the speculation if we track across the season.
