Liverpool bus damaged on journey back from Etihad Stadium today

Be interesting to hear what happened, where it was attacked and by whom. Not condoning the action at all, of course, but I have images of their bus being pelted with inflatables by a bunch of kids having a kick around, or pensioner tapping on the window with his waking cane, whist Robertson has a flashback to Maherz turning him inside out, Trent is rocking away in the corner and Klopp's shouting"I'll get you for this Guardiola!" Classic case of PTSD.

And don't get me started on the chanting. Scousers have feelings too, the bestest and most feelingy feelings in the world. Must be just awful to go from champions to eighth... I mean, no team, ever in the history of the werld, has had to bravely soldier on in such testing circumstances, so have some respect. Recession on the horizon, inflation at every turn, and then we go and sing upsetting songs at them.

I wouldn't be surprised if hosting the Eurovision, where further songs may be sung (and no guarantee has been given by ANY country that they won't cause offence to the city of Liverpool!) is now just too raw for them to do without further recompense, and my hopes and prayers tonight are that the people of Liverpool FC find the strength to soldier on and find a way to host the event and bring some cheeky cheer into all our lives. Be it burning the liver building live on air or collecting money for the needy and delivering it at a speed light itself would be in envy of, I think we can all agree that we all need a Liverpudlian close to us at times like these. They're, as they often remind us all, a hilarious bunch.

Two kids throw a stone at a bus. They could have been local rags. No reason for the club to offer any sort of apology. It wasn't attacked whilst leaving the ground, just a single object in a residential area of Manchester, so if anyone should be apologising, it should be Burnham
Nobody should be apologising. Especially the club. It’s absolutely pathetic how we constantly bow down to this feral scum of a club. We actually embarrass ourselves. The club supports the dipper fans more than they do us. I for one am absolutely sick of it. The club need to grow a pair and not so politely tell them to do one.
The more we pander to them the worse it will get. Enough is enough.

Where was this one object throw? It’s a fact that rags have attacked City fans after home games when they aren’t even playing but whoever we have played haven’t issued apologies for blues being attacked. The inference is that City fans have thrown one object, could have been anyone. And the irony of apologising for a song about being victims which is not tragedy related but about them always seeking apologies for anything is not lost on me. And for any lurking journalists on here on the balls to write and print the truth about the feral scousers once and for all.

It goes back further than that.

They broke a window of a City fan coach in 2014, a City fan mini-bus in 2015, our team coach in 2018 and again this season. They spat at the City bench last season and threw coins at Pep this season.

They injured a teenage girl at the Etihad this season and were throwing coins, cups, cups filled with coins and spitting down on City fans all game.

They boo’d Ederson off the pitch when he was on a stretcher in 2017.

They’ve chanted ‘there’s only one Harold Shipman’ at City fans for years. A serial killer of Mancunians, someone who killed two and a half times more people than died at Hillsborough. But the Cult think that’s alright and funny to sing about.

They hacked City’s computer systems and got away with it; something that, by UK law, should be punished with imprisonment. They organised a hate campaign that was lapped up and carried on by the media towards Raheem Sterling all because he dared to leave them. They failed Financial Fair Play but strangely didn’t achieve a place through the league or a trophy to see them qualify for Europe in the season they would have been banned from Europe, yet they moan about City and our finances all the time.

And their **** of a manager said it was a ‘bad day for football’ when we were exonerated by the CAS.

But the hostility even goes back a lot further than all that n’all: the battles City and Liverpool fans had in the 60s 70s and 80s and you can ask our large contingent of black fans who used to go to away games in the 70s and 80s what city was the worst to visit for racist abuse and they’ll tell you that it was Liverpool (at both Anfield and Goodison).

That club and fanbase are offended by everything and ashamed of nothing. That’s why we chant ‘always the victims, it’s never your fault’ and why sometimes some City fans will think ‘enough is enough’ and will take retribution into their own hands because Liverpool and their fanbase are never punished for anything they do to us.

You forgot about Joe Corrigan being smashed on the head by a bottle thrown from the kop.

I got the bus back to Piccadilly today and heading back into town was a group of maybe 20/30 feral scouse kids all dressed in black getting a police escort. I just sat thinking not one of them will have a productive life. A worry!

one bottle/stone? a single bottle got thrown?

and yes always the victims (not a hillsborough song despite their claims) was sang once when henderson was being a ****

stop pandering to these cunts City you are now embarrassing us by being so weak
Agree mate, I sang and will always sing always the victims, because that's the truth. I will stop once they start admitting to being at fault once in a while. I expect to be singing for the rest of my days.

That's a bit deep.
