John Stones again for me, was hoping he would be rested for this given his importance to the team right now, a giant on that pitch today
 
i thought the defence played pretty well to be honest Liverpool really had fuck all chances in open play overall. shame about the goalie

not unlucky, this is another of many chances not only by gabby that have cost us. not blaming him or singling him out but our finishing at times??????
 
I know Are had a good game today but I give it to Fernandinho. He worked his butt off today and shown a lot of heart and desire for the team.
 
Ake by a country mile. Poor bastard must of felt like he was playing Liverpool on his own in that first half.
 
Went for Stones. We lacked composure on the ball today in the back five and he was the only one who provided it. Ake did defend well.

At my old pub team we had a donkey of the day trophy. Step forward Zach Stefan. He is a good keeper but the pressure got to him (again) today. Does has the character to be a top keeper? I’m not sure.
 
Too many changes at once.

Players who have had to put a monumental effort in over 3 very high level games and are absolutely fucked physically and mentally. The usual energy just wasn’t there.

Midfield 2 that lacks energy and have never played together before.

Steffen is no Ederson. The drop off in our whole game is huge when Steffen plays

Lets be honest we probably wouldn’t get away with such a mixture against a bottom 6 team never mind these cunts.

For me, we’ve got the results we needed in the other 3 games and if we were going to lose one of the 4 it’d be this one.

We’re top of the league with the outcome in our hands and we’re in the CL semis. I’d have taken that over winning today, any day.
 
I know steffen fucked up but fair play to him being able to continue. If that was a scouse keeper as we have seen in the past he would be getting death threats now and moved to turkey ;) stay respectful blues.
 
Stones was ok, Cancelo was ok, Ake was ok although could have maybe done better on their first goal.Mahrez ok when he came on.

Steffan was wank and cost us the game.
Zinchenko offered nothing and almost cost us a goal.
Fernandinho kept going but is finished at this level and fortunate not to be booked earlier/sent off.
Silva - looks Shot to me. No end product
Grealish - invisible first half but better second
Jesus - kept trying but finishing as wank as always
Foden - invisible
Sterling - Utter crap all game. That free kick just summed him up.
