Ake for me. Defended well including great tackle on Salad late in the 2nd half. He has been very good since getting his chance recently.

Stones. By a distance.
Felt Ake edged it over Stones. The fact that Steffen has as many votes as Sterling, Foden, Silva and Grealish combined says everything really. Both fullbacks were super poor Ferno improved a bit as the game went on but not at the races. As bad as days at the office can get.

Ake.

Stones was good too. And fair play to Gabriel Jesus who did actually try to make a case for himself to be picked for the rest of the season and that he can be trusted when the team’s best players aren’t there, it’s just a shame so much didn’t come off for him.

In total contrast to those, fuck me Sterling Foden and Grealish were fucking shit!

Take his goal away and Grealish did fuck all, Foden still plays like he’s an EDS player who’s getting the off chance to play when the leaders of the team aren’t there, and Sterling is pretty much the same he never steps up when the real leaders of the team aren’t there.

Fernandinho did put in a shift, but at 75% slower than the game was actually played at. He was bobbins. But he did try.

Cancelo and Zinchenko contributed fuck all n’all.

What Steffan was doing I have no idea. It’s one where you’d be checking his bank for some Far East betting money coming in, but in reality it was just one hell of a fucking stinker for the lad. But it’s not like the team in front of him did anything so I’ll let off a bit part player. Hope he recovers from it!

Stones was our best player, followed closely by Ake, it was a bad day yesterday but lets get over it and get on with the rest of the season, there is still a lot to play for, Come on City. Also I thought the ball went out from the corner, from my seat it did ?, I need to see it again on TV.

Am I taking some kind of bait or something?

Aké was okay defending but kept getting caught in possession and couldn’t handle the dippers high press, as did Phil’s bodyguard (Zinchenko). Aké was better when Oleks went higher up the pitch and out of his way ‘cos he stopped trying to do stuff he’s not capable of doing and just cleared it.
Stones had too many big lads to mark at corners and left the huge Gabriel Jesus to mark Konaté, who just shoved him out of the way for 1st goal.

MOTM was that the guy who probably ran another 8 miles in 3 days. Didn’t have much luck but neither did anyone else.
For the graft he put in for the cause my MOTM was Bernardo Silva.
