'Incidents between rival fans have escalated in recent years' - The Guardian reporting on today's dipper whinge. Most other papers are using the same phrase.
Let's look at the incidents shall we.
City. We wrote on a bog door and a few fans sang about Hillsborough.
The Ferals. Bricked the coach, spat and abused our staff, bricked the coach again, threw coins at Pep and threw just about everything at the SS lower tier which caused head injuries to a 14 year old girl.
Yeh it seems a fair way of reporting incidents between fans.

Maybe those 600 Liverpool fans and the Liverpool fan groups should be trying to find the culprit who threw the pint pot that injured the girl.
Maybe Liverpool should have agreed with the ban in private at least, and made a statement in public as a warning to their fans to behave in the future. But we’re talking about FSG and Liverpool. Owners of a club who have little or no control over their fans, and are absolutely petrified of them.

When Spitmie Carragher had to come out and tell Mickeys that identifying who murdered that little girl was not grassing then you have to wonder about their mentality.

Liverpool supporters' group Spirit of Shankly have also expressed their displeasure at the move.
“We acknowledge there have been issues involving both sets of supporters in recent seasons, but this course of action is counter-productive," said a statement. "At the corresponding fixture last season, Liverpool fans experienced overzealous stewarding and policing, and were locked in the ground after the match with no access to toilets.
"Such undue treatment of supporters serves only to increase tension, which SOS fed back to Greater Manchester Police at the time. Now, it appears, Liverpool supporters are to be penalised further.
“We understand reduced allocations at the Etihad have also happened to other clubs, which don’t seem to be about away fan behaviour, but poor crowd management."
