And isn't that why we have given Ederson time off, because we have a perfect replacement as you say yourself, yet Ederson is getting criticism for something the club will have put in place.

Ortega was always playing against Liverpool just like he will be against Chelsea in the FA Cup, for me the Leeds game shouldn't be Edderson I would give the gloves to Ortega, he's been training & ready

he’s only short of an iconic or big contribution moment (could of been RM last season) to really settle him in

Personally I'd much rather he starts getting some goals and assists, given that he's a winger. Don't really care how 'iconic' they are. No matter how good he looks while dribbling, his contribution can't really be considered good until he starts producing something at the end of those dribbles.

Well your opinion is as good as anyone's.
You think Pep should drop Ederson and is wrong to have him as current number one.Pep gets plenty wrong according to the punters on bluemoon.

So you’ve said in your last 3 posts. Ederson is our number 1 keeper, he’s been training in Brazil, he will be fine. Not sure if you went to the Girona friendly but tbh Ortega was a long way from his best

sorry to be catching up but Grealish in Ny pictures has sent me confused. Have all the england city players got time off now ans until when?!

They last played/trained on the 10th, could have had 3/4 days off and been back at work Thursday/friday last week.

Got to say I am really struggling to get up for this game even though I have a ticket and will be there, maybe it will be different on the night. With four tickets per member and loads still on sale I can see dippers being everywhere so may make for some additional excitement!

I mean, we all know Jack's got a poor attitude. We turn a willing blind eye because he's ours.

For me, anything that keeps him off the pitch is a blessing in disguise at this point, to be honest. We'd all like him to come good but in the meantime I'd rather play Palmer or Mahrez or someone with a bit of output.

Correct he is No 1 no argument but that doesn't mean he can also sit on the bench at ANYTIME

Ortega made 1 mistake in the friendly that I can recall maybe 2 but his distribution is excellent & imo better shot stopper out of the 2 but Eddy on the floor is or can be the best in the world but he isn't the best shot stopper, we often pick the ball out of our net when under the counter & his penalty saves are not the best either

Ortega has played 1 game I think Chelsea in the cup so not to many games in the season so 1 mistake can be brushed under the carpet imo we brush at least 2 a game for Eddy

Let's just be fair here we have to excellent keepers but do not think for 1 minute Edderson is untouchable, he needs to raise his game & get back to the levels of last year

Both fit & playing at there best then Eddy wins all day but don't be suckered into Eddy has to start every prem game I'm not having it

Same as Cancelo I absolutely love him but like Eddy he has been no more than 6-7 out of 10 we need him back up to the 8-9 that's what wins us the big games when these 2 are on it

Right now we have the likes of Mahrez, Jack who need a kick up the fookin arse but Dias, Cancelo & Eddy need to raise it imo otherwise bench it will be
