Much higher percentage than I imagined

Think only once in the last 10 years has a team come back from more 3 goals down barca v psg in the first leg and that was a game stacked in that teams favour ref wise

though in 2003 I think real v monaco was 4-2 and and ended 1-3 in second leg monaco through on away goals

Whatever happens, 2 performances, marred by extreme circumstances - attack on the team bus, and the atrocious, reffing, defending, finishing in the derby, should not define our season.
We have a slim chance of going through, if we get a few first half goals without reply, I expect the game to turn in our favour.
Remember the first leg against Monaco? Barca's 2nd leg turn around?
If any team in the Premier should be aware of defying the odds, it's this one.
We are expected to go out, so I expect the team to go and just play football, free of any fear, and give it their best it 'aint over' til it's over!!!

It's a difficult task and not getting the away goal is a stinker, but this team is better than any we've had before and this season they've been exceptional. If we play like we did in the first 45 mins of the Derby we'll easily have a chance. I'm not a fan of the champs league personally, it's pantomime football (politics, refereeing, hot & cold balls in the draws etc), but winning it would be amazing. It matters to the club and the players in particular, so they'll be up for it, probably more than most fans.

Regardless of the result they've done us proud this season. If you're going to the game, get behind the team, lets create an atmosphere, equal to the first half of Saturday at the very least, or better still the Hamburg game, and see what happens. This squad is special and they can turn a game around in minutes.

It would've been great to win the league on Saturday, but all that's happened is that the inevitable has been delayed, it's not worth crying about. Times have changed.

Jürgen Klopp on Mohamed Salah's fitness: “No real clue in the moment because we have to wait a little bit. You can imagine, in this short period between games, it is quite difficult so I have to wait each minute I can and that’s what I’ll do."

Let’s not kid ourselves. Salah will be starting.

Anyone else feel like that's bad news? No actual comment on his fitness.

Think that is just because he is so upset we did not get such an obvious call. Considering all the leg breakers this season.

Fully expect him to start.
