With Stones out, I would go with Laporte and Kompany.

Delph-Laporte-Kompany-Walker

Laporte has to start for me. Out of the two that conceded 6 goals in our last two I would say Kompany is the one in better form so he gets the nod over Otamendi.

Take out Delph for Jesus early in the second half if we are struggling.

With Clyne coming straight back into the line up against Everton after being out longer than Mendy. I think Mendy could make bench. A great option to have. We could sub him and he’ll be putting in cross after cross for Jesus and Aguero to attack.

Seemed a bit odd that Fernandinho described them as a "long ball team" in the press conference today, unless something was lost in translation?

We get that you think we have no chance - you made the same point a page back.
I'm sure we'd all rather be in Liverpool's position, but to give us no chance is mad. We have the most prolific team in the country, their defence is average and they WILL feel the pressure of having 'one foot in the SF'. Pressure does funny things to teams, and if they go out after a 3-0 home leg it will be an historic failure .can you imagine the reaction up there?
We have the players and the manager to get the result we need - it's up to them now, and up to us to back them.

We have a chance, Kid. If everything in the football universe falls into place and we have a ref who is determined to show that shitehawk Atkinson how a match should be reffed then we have the slimmest of slim chances.

The combination of our prolific team and their average defence did a bit more for the Dippers last week than for us. Teams have come back from worse situations than this, but experience watching City, even this squad, and football in general tells me that if we prayed from FT last week to ko tomorrow to St Jude it wouldn't make up a three goal deficit! I would like events tomorrow to prove me hopelessly wrong but somehow I can see a re-run of the Hamburg game!

One thing is sure I am going ot be much more disappointed if we go out of CL with not even winning this game tomorrow.
If we have to go out and win 2-0 only or 3-1 or 4-1 only that it was a very close tie like the Monaco one.
But if we go out with a draw tomorrow or Liverpool beating us again that is really something I could find it hard to explain.

To go trough we need to score imo 6-7 goals because I expect Liverpool to score 1 minimum but probably 2 goals. If they score 2 we need 6 goals. They way we will have to throw everything at it at a certain point it will leave us in horrible position when it comes to defend quick ****ers something Pool likes very much.

Ohh and nearly forgot about second balls, dont want to see City players being slower, less agressive, with less desire to win second balls. That was horrible in the first leg every second ball ended up with them as they wanted it more.

Pep said we need a perfect game he is right, defensive mistakes will be punished at this level and missing chances will cost big too.

3-0 down at spurs and as we amble off at half time resident gobshite Joey Barton gets himself sent off For those including myself who doubt we can do it tommorow night remember this cos miracles do happen i mean who would believe that years later we would be grateful to the same gobshite for his actions in adding time on at the end of the QPR game allowing us to have our Aguero moment

Seemed a bit odd that Fernandinho described them as a "long ball team" in the press conference today, unless something was lost in translation?

He said they press hard, put a little bodies in midfield and play long balls.

He was accurately describing the way they play bit the media has decided he was comparing them to a 1980s league 2 side.

They play a lot of speculative balls over the top for the pace men to chase down.

It's a good while since we have been such underdogs in a tie. I'm really quite looking forward to it now.
