Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Slot is a very poor loser isn't he? Taking over from the teeth man. Awww shame. *rofl*

I've just seen all the goals. (I wasn't watching the Match thread) Poor Erling has to stop taking penalties!! ;-)
There are penalties every weekend that would look poor if the keeper went the right way. Unfortunately for Haaland the keeper went the right way.

am rewatching the game as i couldnt watch live and its stressing me out the liverpool opportunities at the start of the second half

40.4% possession second half we had!

Still scored 17 of his 20 for City in the PL. 85% pretty good success rate. Thought their keeper was a bit lucky in that he committed very early. Erling must be a bit old school in never changing his mind on where he is putting his spot kick. If he could work on one of those stutter run ups he'd have had an open net today.

Lets put this offside to bed, he was offside in front of the keeper in the 6 yard box and ducked out of the way of the ball, in that one incident he intefered with play more than wirtz did the whole game.

SO ONCE AGAIN I REPEAT FUCK OFF YOU FERAL BIN DIPPING CUNTS AND WHILE YOU'RE IT TAKE RATBOY AND THE HARD OF THINKING GUFFAWING BUFFOON WITH YOU.
Agreed. In the words of Brian Clough, "if a player isn't interfering with play, he shouldn't be on the pitch!" Fuck the scouse cunts

Strange situation. Let's be honest, everyone wanted the lad. So, was he just vastly overrated or have Liverpool not used him properly?

I never watched him in Germany so I wouldn't know where he played or what his strengths were that made him so marketable.

Be interesting to hear what those who watched him in Germany think.
He was supposed to be the signing of the century if you believed the press, so he came with a ton of weight on his shoulders and hasn't lived up to any of it. Mind you, Isak was also meant to be the final missing piece too, and let's not forget Nunez.

I dunno. It's almost like journalists cream themselves over certain teams transfers and not others.

just reading the post match interviews…..has Van Dijk really gone and said his right back had a shit game basically by name?

Pep’s joined in as well with the trolling talking about Doku….

"He has an outstanding game against one of the best full-backs in the Premier League."

Enjoyed that.

Doku standout.

Apart from Gvardiol and maybe cherki the rest did great.

Signs we are a formidable team again but also patches in the game were we need a big save from Donna or a bit of luck.

Very happy with the recent improvements. Not yet back to greatness but obvious signs.

Special mention to nico oreilly and nico covering for Rodri. We don’t win games without either and both must play.
gvardiol has always been a bit of a liability in possession, but some of his decisions 2nd half left your heart in your mouth! Dias dragged him through the game.

I think Cherki will be the player you turn to in the tight games against lesser teams in the last 20 mins of games. Hard to see him having the physicality to play week in week out.

One slip aside, Donna has been absolutely superb, buy quality, get quality!

Do you think their managers are told to act like that there as part of pushing their overbearing culture over football? I seem to remember Benitez being a wanker there n’all.

That’s a better than average number I think.
