Defending was excellent tonight. Pressing much better. We were totally fucked physically at times in the 2nd half but once they started pinging balls into the box as opposed to actually trying to drag us around the pitch, we could just sit deep and keep heading and booting it away.
A special mention for Fernandinho who really ought to be considered for the tag of being City’s best player of all time. He is right up there. Incredible, incredible player.
