We were never going to be able to play at our brilliant flowing best in a match that tense but we were truly magnificent under the circumstances and with a make shift back four too. Bit of a shame that Raheem couldn't smash in the third near the end, the stadium would have fucking exploded but his decision making when it matters is so good these days. Absolutely knew he would play the right ball at the right time to Leroy and it was then just going to be whether Leroy could finish it. It was a genuine struggle to fight my anus and not shit in my pants when Stones cleared off the line. Great night and one in the eye for the negative pant wetters who had written off their own team before the match had even kicked off. :)
 
No discussion of the foul on Sterling in the box. Commentators said it wasn’t then when they’re showed Robertson - the worlds greatest left back ever - had a hold of Sterling - but the commentator’s microphones obviously failed - because they never said a word and the incident has been airbrushed.

What he meant was
"the foul wasnt committed by a Liverpool player, how can it not be be a red card... and how can not be a goal, how does it matter the ball didn't cross the line...."
 
I thought Kun was magnificent first 60 but was spent along with Sane switching off allowed them time to build up for their goal. However both were a threat & deserved their goals.

Bernardo & Fern were possessed - incredible!

I felt we were at a real disadvantage not being able to play our way, full backs are a huge part of our game but they came in & did a job.
 
its nights like this you wonder how far manchester city have come in a short space of time ?? in 10 YEARS 3 premier league titles 3 league cups 1 fa cup and 7 seasons in the champions league its unbelievable when you stop and think about it

tonight's game is bigger than the result for me, we was on our knee's 2 weeks ago 3 losses and looking all at sea, but we shown tonight we are going to fight and not roll over, it would be easy to fold and say ok we maybe a bit leggy and say the season before took its toll going for the 100 points record, and the players with the world cup are mentally and psychically gone and nothing left in the tank, also losing KDB and mendy it was a big problem so again we could find something to hang our hat's on and point the fingers

liverpool are flying high at the moment and winning games and getting lots of luck with pens and other stuff, so back to city down on a little bad run missing key players and we play like that and beat liverpool and show why we are champions and manchester city are the real deal

FORGET THE RESULT MANCHESTER CITY ARE A MAJOR CLUB AGAIN

It’s why they didn’t show possession stats for most of the game.
 
The Vinny incident was borderline, some you get some you don’t but if there’s one club who has no right to talk about ref decisions against us, it’s Liverpool.

Handball not given - 3-2 league loss
Multiple offside decisions - both legs CL QFs
Sterling non pen - 1st leg CL QF
