I honestly don't see the hype about him..

Yes he cuts out danger.
But his passing is shite.
We noticed during the 1st half he gave the ball away u times in a fow

All I ever see him do is point in a direction telling a player where to pass but said player is ahead of him & can't see him. He's all show imo & he loves a sideways pass. Not saying he's shit but I'd rather Laporte.

I think last night showed how shit scared they were of us.

Firminho pretty much sacrificed the whole game stopping our centre halves passing to Ferna - he was anonymous until they reshuffled.
Klopp shat his pants and went with his 'comfy' midfield three, rather than risk new signings and creativity in there.
Both fullbacks pegged back by and large, shit scared of our wide pace and movement.
Midfield played deep, meaning balls into Sergio's feet were rare, allowing VVD to win the ensuing aerial balls - caused a lack of forward momentum.
Salah and Mane don't like physicality, so restored to falling over.

Tossers the lot of them.

The first surprise last night was when I saw that all the tickets had in fact sold and that the ground was not full of scousers who had bought four tickets each. Then they came out of the tunnel and the YNWA on the back of their shirts reminded me that my all consuming desire for a City win had only a little to do with the PL table but was only more intense than my desire every season - and it was shared by all those packed into the stadium, who never wavered in their determination to will the lads to victory. Wow! What a performance! What a team performance! Liverpool showed what a good team they are: City showed what a great side we are. Our midfield is just dreamlike in its quality, but how hard they work! Ferna - what can we say? David - we've said it all before many times! Bernardo - brilliant, and has he ever worked harder or run further? And up front? Leroy, a thorn in the side of Liverpool all night and a magnificent finish for the goal. Raheem always direct, used his pace well and played a decisive part in the build up to the winner. And Sergio showing just how truly great he is with an unbelievable finish for his goal. And what a surprise that he ignored VVD and honed in on Lovren like heat seeking missile - far too cunning for a world class striker! But for me the real heroes were the lads at the back. Pep was accused of another strange "left field" selection but with Walker struggling for form he actually played the only available defenders he had, and how they responded. Danilo had a fine game and Laporte was excellent (did Salah have a meaningful touch all night?). Stones will always be remembered for one clearance which seemed to defy the laws of physics, but he was admirable all night and Vinnie was a model of calm, defensive composure all night and he did not, categorically and definitely not, commit a red card offence. For a back four which has never played together it was superb, especially with Ederson giving an exemplary display as "the spare man at the back". And yet I don't think we were ever at our best or hit top form. It was our effort, our team spirit, the collective determination to do nothing but win which saw us over the line. And that goes for the crowd as well; the vocal support never wavered. Much is made this morning that no one has heard noise like that at the Etihad before - no one has actually heard noise like that anywhere! City and the crowd were simply tougher, harder psychologically than Liverpool and the victory was well deserved.

Sky Spurts immediately showed City 1 Scouser 4 after we beat them

Think its his calmness organisation composure and reassurance that he brings footballing wise he aint world class like I say an old fashion defender.

So, the game. Live, it was nerve wrecking. Watching us play, I thought we looked nervous, indecisive, Laporte misplacing passes, Sane doing my brain in. They seemed to have all passing options blocked off, and when they did have the ball running at our defence, the lines their forwards were running, and clever passing had me massively chewing at fingernails.
Anyway, two great goals, a host of missed chances and we see the game out for a massive victory.

We get home, still buzzing and can't sleep, so decide to watch it again on the box.

Now, a different game to the one I saw live. The composure of Stones, the commitment and leadership of Kompany, the pace of Aguero, Sane and Sterling had them in bits. The endeavour, skill and fighting qualities of Bernardo and Fernandinho, and the footballing brain of Danilo.

Upshot is, we schooled them. And they know it. Even if they win the league, they will know, we are a better team.

Incredible performance that surpassed the one against Barca for me, the win achieved by sheer endeavour of human spirit epitomised by our B.Silva.

He's slow, for sure. Bilva isn't the quickest...not slow...but not rapid yet beat VVD to ball that the defender should have easily got to first. Very noticeable that he isn't quick. Worth playing on.

Walking back into town last night there was s a group of 5 or 6 absolute pond life vile scousers. All about twenty. One of them was shouting your fucking shite, generally being a knob and trying to trip city fans up.

One of them said something to my 13 year old daughter being a slag so I faced up to the fuckers. Absolute wankers.

I was quite pleasantly surprised to be insulted by being called fuckoff David Cameron who is one of my all times heroes. It just added to the night for me. I then had my coat and smart shoes insulted. I informed the scousers it was cashmere and they wouldn’t be able to afford it. I stood my ground like Alan Shearer against Roy Keane and my attire and barrel chest won the day. I would have told them my shoes were bolvaint but I don’t think they would have got that.

Thankfully I then bumped into gdm and had a civilised chat walking back into town.

First time I have ever got involved in any form of bother at the Etihad.

Horrible that you and your daughter had to deal with those degeberate scouse ****s but we’ll done handling it as you did!

We can take solace in the fact that regardless of the outcome of the match, the next day for us was always going to be better than for that lot.
