Liverpool (H) Post-Match Thread

Said it wasn’t a pen and raz dived, gave Liverpool Excuse after excuse
Raz did dive, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t being fouled. Did you forget Dixon belongs to the “defenders union?”

I watch (and listen to) Dixon week in, week out. I stand by my assessment.

That's handball under the ludicrous new interpretation from the start of this season that a goal cannot be assisted by a handball, accidental or not. In this case VAR just applied the law as it stands.
Not as it stands. As it's being interpreted.

The handball rule is a prem/fa rule,it is different to the governing bodies rule and they have had plenty of scathing words from them,it does is /not supposed to be this complicated, pigmol could change it if they wanted to
It's not a prem/FA rule. FIFA weren't happy with how we weren't following their guidance last season (before the rule change) but I'm not sure whether they've said anything about how PGMOL interpret "gaining possession" and "create a goalscoring opportunity" (where a defender could deliberately handle the ball onto an attacker's hand and that would rule out a subsequent goal - with a free kick to the team whose player had deliberately handled).

Just seen the disallowed goal on the official site, what a complete load of nonsense the VAR operators got that wrong. How the hell could Foden avoid the ball when he had been upended by an opponent, they had better get this rule sorted out ASAP or non off us will be returning when things get back to normal.

Whatever happened to common sense.

Just take a look at the world in general, not a lot about anywhere.

I suggest before having a go you get the full facts then next time

if people stick to talking about the game and challenging peoples opinions in the correct manner then there wouldnt be a problem. I have no problem if you disagree with my opinion on players/games/refs decisions etc - infact I welcome open intelligent debate as thats the way we learn but some people on here just cant do that.
Your one of them. Amazingly childish.
