Liverpool (H) Post-Match Thread

Clap or spill? Starbucks and stadium teas aren't cheap you know.

A definite non-story if ever there was one.

Is that why people are angry? That’s fucking hilarious

Nearly every they time they lump it up to the right to Salah or to the left to Mane. It’s not aimless hoofs, it’s long balls into a targeted space. Get 2 good fast full backs who can man mark like glue and they’re fucked
But have a nice var man on their side and they are never offside

5 things learned:
  1. KDB is at a football level Jordan fucking Henderson will never reach.
  2. City are a better footballing side than Liverpool, by a mile.
  3. Klopp is a sore loser but honest - says hes watched every game of ours and we played really well even when beaten.
  4. Philip Foden is going to be a superstar for City and England.
  5. That VAR hanball rule wants ramming up the arse sideways of whoever conceived it.
Correction KDB is at a level 99.9 % professional players dream of making, I just hope to god we win that CAS case, the chance of loosing him would be horrendous.

Nico wasn't really clapping either, just happening to have things in there hands ,top trolling ha
Fucking hilarious, even if it is a bit of a sour thing to do.

what the fuck was bernardo doing with a coffee that close to kick off? Even if he was a sub haha. Like he was playing Sunday league!

I actually rarely post in the match day thread - i did tonight but its rare as Im usually watching the game so again you are wrong.

Liverpool had 3-4 chances before we scored (including hitting the post) - that had nothing to do with unlukcy - it was to do with mistakes by our players - the very ones i pointed out before the match. go and re watch it and you will see.

I understand some fans cannot take even the slightest bit of criticism or opinion that may make it look like we aint perfect but in the first 20 mins we got away with it on a number of occasions and if you cant see that (or wont) then thats your problem. This isnt negative its just a fact.

I agree we also created a lot of chances - it could have been 6-7 tonight with one being cleared off the line as it was going in and one good goal disallowed by the most ridiculous interpritation of the handball rule (that also funnily happened to spurs as well this evening)

The point that maybe either Im not making very well or people are missing is that when we play Liverpool (and a couple of other similar teams) we have come undone before cause of the points I made before the game - tonight that happened again BUT we got a way with it down to some good keeping, poor finishing/first touches and the post also saving us. Previously Liverpool have been lethal in those situations and they have punished us. We always create chances BUT if they had scored first (like in the past) it could have been a very different game. As i said in a differnt post, if you weather the first 20-25 mins against liverpool then they usually slack of a little in their pressing and you have a much better chance - and tonight that happened
Agree 100%. Doesn't mean we weren't great overall, but we certainly got away with some slack play early on.

To be fair to Samuel his editor's done him in with the headline. The gist of the article is that it's perfectly plausible we could win the title back but we really need to sort out the defensive side of things and get our steel back, which we've all been saying anyway.

The only thing I personally disagree with is that I feel he's underestimated the importance of Laporte.

Still don’t think the Premiership should have been restarted - it was done for all the wrong reasons - and vowed I wouldn’t post on match-related forums. But - call me a hypocrite - I can’t let last night pass without comment. You fucking beauties, Blues!

Didn't we beat United by 19 points? After 38 games not 31.
I think we could easily win all remaining Premier League games and if they can't up their levels now it's won they may drop more points. They may not win it by 20+ points.
Still early for declaring them the best champions ever!
But when has common sense ever stopped the press spouting bullshit. I've not even read the article.
