Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

10 games left over 1/4 of the season, could be lots of twists and if wein our games only 2 points to.make up.
But we're relying on Arsenal tripping up, not to mention the danger of us tripping up too.

All we can do is concentrate on ourselves & hope Arsenal are the ones who stub their toe...

I expect we will trip up , but so will Arsenal unless we expect them to extend their 7 consecutive wins to 16, unlikely IMO. Question is will they trip up by 2 points more than us, with over 1/4 of the season left I’d say there’s a fair chance. Picking which games is impossible, because as we know from other run ins , trips come when least expected. Of course thats assuming we beat them.

Totally agree mate.

Take away the (very good) delivery from wide positions and there isn’t much else left with TAA.

100% not a RB on any planet, either.

He played centre mid in his youth level, the next Gerrard they called him hahahahaha. He could be a Championship version of Gerrard though. Don’t get me wrong, he would be absolutely brilliant for someone like Bournemouth in midfield. I’m not saying he’s completely useless. But you can’t play at right back if you can’t defend a simple 1-2 or track your man. If it was a one off, I’d say he was lazy, but every week and you’ve got to say he’s not got the brain capacity for defending at the highest level. I for one spotted this a long time ago and I’m glad others have clocked it now too. It’s hilarious.

Every team they play targets that side. He’s a liabilty. He is a superb passer of the ball but that is all he can do. Like you say, he doesnt have any idea what to do when he doesnt have the ball. Its like seeing some one do those keepy uppy skills and then picking them on that basis.

If we do our bit, we gotta hope Arsenal at least draw a game & hope we keep up our scoring rate to maintain our slight GD advantage.

The other bit of jeopardy is games running out. Arsenal are the real deal, & to haul them back at this late stage of the season is gonna take some doing...
Think next weekend is key. We need the dippers to up the game and assuming we beat the Saints we might be able to cut the gap

It's fascinatingly poised for sure...

I'm assuming the dipper players have apologised for walking through Pep's technical area after the goal? Disrespectful Cunts.
I thought yesterday - why are they going to the left, through our technical area, to warm up instead of to the right, and getting in Klopp's ugly mush, instead of Pep's face?

I've been watching City and football generally for 60 years and, for too many reasons to mention, that's the best I've ever seen.

Happy days!
