I've seen their coppers ignore a serious assault on a City supporter in about 1991. Niall Quinn scored and I think it was 2-2. Told me he saw nothing after the lad was booted in the face outside the away entrance. Horrible people.

It happened all the time there. I'm sure they were in contact with their mob to inform them where City fans were. I've heard stories that if they put you in a waggon they'd drop you off where their mob was so you got a hiding.

I went to the league cup semi final there in 1981 and it wasn't good. I have actually witnessed worse police at Goodison and seen a mate thrown in Walton for nothing. He took it all the way and they dropped the charges.
