Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

Will there ever be a day when the media are not reporting a " perceived or reported act of distress being caused to dipper supporters by fans of other clubs ?

It is like a concentrated attempt to draw attention to themselves , the club, their management etc at every single opportunity.

On a day when the team has been absolutely outplayed, dismantled and embarrassed by a superior City team, the news is about " an attack upon their coach by person or persons unknown ", and the City management choose to offer a fucking apology for it.

It's a pity that their supporters cannot just for once in their miserable lives accept that their team were fucking outplayed !
I don't think condoning an attack on a vehicle by a footy fan is right. Not something I would be proud of anyway. What do you want City to say? Oh well you did it to us so tough luck! I'm saddened 1 or more people (its not known if it was a city fan) have stooped to the level of the people who attacked the City bus.

I don't join in with the 'always the victims', but I really don't think it's fair of the club to call it inappropriate, hateful and offensive. Tarring thousands of your own fans with a very wide brush. It's clear to me that there's plenty of reasons City fans sing it, and none of them are anything to do with Hillsborough.

If it was the 'murderers' chant, fair enough.

Another thing I noticed is how narrow the Scousers played. Evidently they planned for Haaland & followed the similar tactics used against us since the Brentford defeat.

HOWEVER, Haaland didn't make the squad but the Dippers ploughed on with their "Stop Haaland" formation & tactics regardless.

The problem they found was there wasn't a Haaland there to mark. They found Alvarez who pressed from the front & dropped deep & wide to find the ball which pulled the Dippers all over the place, but more importantly created space for our midfield centrally.

Today was a masterful display of tactics & the execution of those tactics. Klipperty didn't know what the fuck hit them & couldn't explain what happened during his post match interview... :-)

And booting him in the head, he knew what he was doing and that's why he ain't involved with the to England squad

And also the fact that he's fucking shit at defending. It shows how bad he is, if even Maguire can get straight in the England team.

I think there were about 7 or 8 other incidents that we could say the same for, involving their players today.
Fabinho 3 fouls in the first 7 minutes. No card.

Trent Alexander Arnold straight through the back of Grealish in the first half, Again in the second half. No card.

Gapko dive. No card.

Robertson multiple fouls, Nothing serious of note but numerous fouls. No card.
