There was a spell, 20 minutes or so to go, cue the oles, where they wouldn’t press for fear of conceding another. Beautiful.

Fuck off city for pandering to their "inappropriate chants" campaign. This is the kind of shit they revel in and was completely unnecessary to even comment on.

Always the victims got one quite quiet rendition in immediate response to their whole team surrounding the ref begging for rodri to be sent off for a challenge 3 of their players had previously replicated and went unpunished for, they were playing the victims as the song explicitly suggests. nowhere was there any mention of Hillsborough and its just fucking bizarre anybody would immediately jump to that conclusion in that context.

Piss poor from whoever has come out with that from our media team.

A magnificent performance. Liverpool detonated, dejected and demoralised.
Today we saw the real difference between Pep and Klopp. Pep has made the adjustments responding to our ordinary form of earlier; Klopp is just casting around hopefully and getting nowhere. Pep has improved so many of our players; Klopp seems to have made some of theirs worse. Say hi to our new magnificent defender/midfielder Sir John Stones, the Barnsley Beckenbauer.
Grealish, however, is not worth the £100m we paid………more like £200m.
The run in has begun. Will Arsenal crumble under pressure? We won’t.

Imagine how that young girl feels today after reading that snivelling apology from City.
I can't believe the nobs at the club have done this. So quickly, as well. At least give it half a day of investigation before bending over and touching your piggies.

Absolute disgrace that comment from the club.
 
Just got home from the game. Brilliant performance today. The second half we played them off the park.

Hard to call out individuals as I thought the whole team were great. Grealish had possibly his best City game to date, Mahrez, KDB, Gundo, Rodders all different class, apart from one misplaced header Stones was exceptional, Alvarez very good. Ake is currentLy at least 8 out of 10 every game (one of the most consistent players this season).

It must have been soul destroying for their fans, the ones who hadn't gone home early, to see how one sided the second half was. Lovely to see.

Probably a Dipper.

According to one of their fans at the game, the "always the victim chant" was "ringing round the stadium in a way she'd never heard before". I was singing it and Hillsborough never crossed my mind once.
