Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

I genuinely believe the second half is our best 45 since Pep arrived at the club. We controlled the game, but with an absolute ruthlessness. We looked dangerous every time we attacked but at the same time we had total control.

It was an absolute masterclass.
It’s certainly up there.

Obviously Haaland is amazing and we definitely needed a proper striker but there is something ‘pure Pep’ about playing without a traditional number 9.

I wouldn’t want to have to do it every week but it is bloody good fun.

Our media department are totally out of touch with our fan base , the brick throwing was in a residential area and could have been any scrote a Rag or Blue , the chant was certainly not audible on the television and it also does not refer to Hilllsborough ask any of our fans and they will confirm it refers to Liverpool fans murdering Juventus fans.
Heysel should also never be forgotten , Hillsbrough was a tragedy and and you feel for the victims families for such an unfortunate incident , Heysel was a deliberate attack on opposing fans by horrible bastards.
The fact the one brick that hit their coach and a chant that wasnt even audible enough to register with TV viewers makes more headlines than the Dippers totally inept surrender monkey football team is only to be expected from a fawning Dipper media.
Well f*ck you , you over sensitive , victim seeking , candle lighting , scouse cunts.

No. He's got a lot of credit in the bank. FSG have tied his hands behind his back, not allowing him to buy players while City can buy who they want

I totally agree with this but I’d also apply your comments to the first half too.

Can people behave about this being the best ever performance. I fucking loved it and we battered them, the result didn't tell the story. However, this Liverpool team are pants and not the one we've faced in previous seasons. Fuck me, Bournemouth beat them a few weeks back. Their away form is shite.

Let's see how we get on against Munich before we get to Rag/Dipper levels of hyperbole.

Who played that ball for the I think it was the 2nd goal..
I've been on the drink since half 9.
But that was the best pass ivvle seen since el mago at the whit hole

Quick question, then; using that logic, you're saying that Grealish was world class when we bought him. Or Ake. Or Dias. Or, or, or.

Yes not far off for all them 3 you mentioned, absolutely quality players hence you paid what you did.
I'm really not arsed if people don't rate rice, i've seen him live for over a number of years now and feel i'm in a better posistion to judge, i know how ridiculously good he is.

You'll see how good he is when he leaves..
It's shite when you see your best player leave.
Goes one of two ways either he fades away like Philips has.
Or he steps up and goes to the next level like Jack has..

I was worried when I saw Phil/Erling and Bernado out but my word I was wrong. That second half we absolutely schooled them.
Have to say given the blip (one shot one goal ) that was one of the most complete performances from City I’ve seen in a long while Every player put their all in and it was an honour to watch that effort and performance 59 years old an finding more love for my club my team my badge Thanks City
