Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

All day singing the blues!

Buzzing. Every one of them on it and playing for each other. Such an incredible team

Stones again - incredible
Ake again - brilliant
Grealish - love him

I’ve posted several times that City are not boring. It’s the myriad of opponents that put so many behind the ball and employ spoiling tactics. Not that you can blame teams for trying to deny the City space in important areas because if you don’t, you get dicked.

City were magnificent today and schooled the Scousers.

I’m embarrassed about some of the stuff I posted on here when the team wasn’t playing well. I became the type of fan I criticise. Think it’s time to come off this forum and just enjoy this special team and manager. Amazing win today. Up the blues
Behave yourself. Fuck all wrong with criticizing a team who aren't playing well. Liverpool fans are doing that tonight. Well, apart from the obvious red for Rodri and Guardiola tarnishing the memory of Hillsborough by celebrating on the touchline as the Liverpool subs were running past.....no class.

I don't think condoning an attack on a vehicle by a footy fan is right. Not something I would be proud of anyway. What do you want City to say? Oh well you did it to us so tough luck! I'm saddened 1 or more people (its not known if it was a city fan) have stooped to the level of the people who attacked the City bus.

Why did they need to say anything?

Why did they need to say anything?

Exactly, from what I've heard it was well away from the ground so nothing to do with us. Coach driving around manned by and identifiable with people 99% of the world hates. Hey somebody will think, Fuck you and lob something at it. Our club wants to stop slagging our own people off and by apologising for everything, they admit guilt and further the dippers victim reputation. Where has all this working with the scouse scum and hand wringing got them? I'll tell you where, absolutely no fucking where. Like doing it to a bully in the playground it's thrown back into their faces, that's where.

I really wouldn’t worry about it too much, mate.

In a year no one will remember the bus incident or the apology, they’ll just remember us thrashing Liverpool, Grealish saying he’s surprised he played so well given he was in the toilet all morning, Klopp throwing his players under the bus for one of the last times, and their stationary ‘club legend’ Van Dick constantly waiving his hands toward some imaginary defender that apparently should have done his work for him.

And Liverpool will be on the 1,479th grievance against whomever is dominating the league at that time (likely us).
Maybe it was this that caused the damage....?

Le grand mal........heart attack incoming

All for likes n follows this. Liverpool V City isn't the thing it was last season or seasons before. Liverpool fans know this game doesn't mean the same as it did before. It's no different than losing to Spurs....even less so actually as we aren't even stopping them get CL spot as we're second.

I've seen Stone Island badges knitted onto black wooly primark sweaters more authentic than this fat ****.

Just got home from the mother of all sessions in town.

For me, that today was as good as anything since 93:20.

Edgy as fuck game, jeopardy, immense pressure, going a goal down, shite officials. Totally schooled the dippers from start to finish. Their body language from kick off screamed "we're out of our depth and we fucking know it".

116/117 was bouncing, everyone take a bow, fucking brilliant support all round the ground.

We've proved, yet again, that when the chips are down MANCHESTER CITY FC fight to the bitter end.

Thank you City.
