Referee threw the game when he allowed an offside goal and didn’t send Rodri off.

Premier League. Bent as fuck as always. Shittest league in the world. Even Italy was never this obvious. Even second half every time they dove - insta freekick. We’re getting dragged over everytime we get the ball.. Play on..

Disappointed we didn’t just go for it and boot them off the park to be honest. We are far, far too nice. We have no fire or passion. Just let them walk all over us. Should have had some hard tackles on De Bruyne and Grealish. Give them something to fucking moan about. We didn’t even make a tackle second half. What is the mentality of a team that wouldn’t want to give Grealish a fucking kick?

Commentators are hilarious on BT. Gatkpo ‘That’s a dive’ - nothing at all when Grealish and that cheating c*nt De Bruyne are diving all over the place.

Disappointed with the loss, but we need more fight and guts and bottle. This has been a great team, but we get fouled every game and just accept it. We get booted up and down and get dragged over and shoved about and we just accept it and never give it back. I don’t want a ‘dogs of war’ but we need to stand up for ourselves. Fucking hate it when our players go off and shake hands with c*nts like De Bruyne and Grealish when they have been cheating wankstains for 90 minutes. I’d rather they got told to get to fuck to be honest.

It’s genius what Pep has come up with for Stones, we now have a double pivot and Stones has got the capability to take the ball at pressure and look forward. It opens up extra options of passing lanes going forward rather than just Rodri finding them. Probably why we have created and scored a lot more goals recently.

Full credit to Stones also. He's tried that role in the past but has now adapted his game to receive the ball in tight spaces & make the right choice of pass.

Feels like since the restart after the World Cup Pep has been searching for a balance. We’ve had Rico Lewis getting the nod in January and then the experiment with Bernardo at left back in February. This double pivot works as teams can’t beat us by pressuring Rodri as there is Stones to think about as well who is more than competent with the ball at his feet. The ball is moving so much quicker, where it was slow and ponderous in the first couple of months of 2023.

Whilst I agree with all that you have I still believe we will need Kyle Walker to play against the German rags.

You could put an Attenborough commentary on it. "Watch as the pride tests out its prey, looking for a weak spot in the herd, advancing then retreating until they spot a weakness and with two movements get round the back of the herd and pounce."
 
One thing I noted was that everyone looked a yard quicker yesterday. KDB, Gundog, Mahrez, etc...boys looked well up for it. Quick decisions and movement all game. One of our finer performances of the year. Shout out to the midfield (incl Stonesy). They were a completely different level to Liverpool.

Great win great performance shit house diving by the scouse rats a second yellow for Rodri nahhhhh if that’s a booking then I give up ......... even if it was how many times have them rats got away with even more outrageous decisions ( Milner ) ......... sod em hopefully they just fade away now ............ still got to love the media in this country they won the title and it was the Dawn of the new dynasty since then they have bagged two cup wins on penalties hardly the stuff of the best team in the world is it. ?????

John Stones is one of the most naturally talented footballers I've seen in 60+ years of watching the game.

He never got the credit he deserved when he was at Everton and is still underrated/ undervalued as an England player by the media imo.
