So with a complete lack of hope, you not having enough and us flying out of the traps, you are still only giving us a 2-2 draw ;-) thanks for the vote of confidence mate, we need it after last night...!!

Well... the prediction is more optimism than anything lol. In originally put 2-1 City. But I gotta support the team ya know? :D

Should be a good game.

Did you read what he actually said? Nothing wrong with it and doesnt come across as bitter or pathetic at all

“I’ve been very fortunate to play in a lot of good teams, with a lot of good players,” said Milner.

“Obviously winning a couple of titles at City, we had some very good players, but as a team this is probably up there as the best team I’ve played in.

“The Man City team were obviously a top side, and arguably had more standout individual players.

“We’ve got a lot of good players at Liverpool too, but I think as a team we play a different style, everyone works together and we need to do that the way we play.

“It’s two completely different teams and styles of play, but two fantastic teams.”
“David Silva is incredible, he always gets the weight of pass right, Raheem (Sterling) has gone and done really well, and obviously Sergio (Aguero) is so sharp around the box.

“They’ve got a lot of top players to stop, but we’ve got a good record against them, we’ll set up the way the manager wants, we’ll set up in training this week, look at their weaknesses and hopefully exploit them.”

No, I hadn't read all of that. I just went off the comments Sky Sports chose to highlight.

Not too surprising they spun in in the way that I mentioned.

Lesson learned :)

Our recent record against Liverpool isn't good, and they'll obviously be a lot fresher than us having not played midweek (or indeed had any European football all season).

We need to make some changes from the Monaco game, but there aren't that many decent options available to us. Presumably Toure, Zabaleta and possibly Otamendi are the most likely to get the nod if Guardiola wants to change things.

Not particularly confident going into this one, but then again I wasn't before either the Arsenal or Spurs games at home and we ended up putting in two of our best home performances in those games. It'd be a big win in terms of the top four race if we can beat them.

Milner states the Dippers are the best team he has played in , but he has not and will not win f*ck all for the rest of his career, and he should be grateful he was a bit part player in a brilliant City team ,that was far superior than anything the Dippers have seen in decades , including Klippety Klopps big game Charlies. Maybe i am missing little jimmy's (the midfield dyanamo) point , because he sat on our bench with splinters in his arse for the majority of his career , so he only really "watched" the best team he has ever seen he didnt f*cking "play" in it
"i left city to win trophies and play central midfield" how's that working out dickhead , football journeyman describes little jimmy to a tee and his 50 odd caps for England only confirms how shite our national team has been

I have been told today by my rag butcher "it must be tough being a City fan this year, and you will get stuffed on Sunday" I said, semi finals of cup, and joint second in league not good enough? "Yes but not for much longer" he said. Nearly told him to stuff his pork chops. Flippin power of the press at work here. :-(

We're going to absolutely wipe the floor with these on Sunday. They'll be a serious reaction, and don't back against Sterling and De Bruyne both scoring.

Caballero
Zaba Stones Kolarov Dinho
KDB Yaya Silva
Sterling Aguero Sane.

4-1 City.

Eh

Have a feeling we'll win all our remaining matches as a reaction to Tuesday.

The scousers are in for a spanking.

Obviously it must be a pleasure being a United fan this year, already having won a trophy (wow), struggling the whole season to reduce the distance from the top 4, 6th their best position so far on the table, competing with 7 other clubs for the mighty EL! Plus they have already secured European football for next season -which is not to be taken lightly (lol). All that with the most complete squad in the league (interesting how he would answer that, still you would enjoy a solid advantage in the discussion in both cases, lol), a visionary manager introducing innovating, attractive attacking football (which he obviously enjoys), brave players kicking the hell out of everything moving around them on the pitch (United are not gonna take shit from nobody) etc etc etc. Yes, it is a fact, they have left the Moyes era behind them for good, they are indeed progresing (not yet a certainty though whether they' ll finish above last season's 5th place, but they're learning to be patient, aren't they?), the future is bright... By the way, it was City that killed their season, beating them at their home, it took them months to recover (if they have...).

Why getting defensive? Just saying...

It was only 2 seasons ago we last beat them in the league so lets not be building them up or we will make it seem like a mountain before we've even began, they are strong at home but they are coming to our place. I hope the fans make a racket it was no coincidence the team responded to the penalty against Monaco like they did... The crowd played such a huge part in that turn around, if only more fans realised the difference the atmosphere at a ground can make there'd be fewer flat performances(very hard to just go through the motions when the crowd is roaring it's a natural response to up your game)... look at West Ham this season for example.
