The last time any of the top 6 goals conceded 2 goals in the Premier League:

Arsenal 29th December

Spurs 29th December

City 26th December

United 16th December

Chelsea 5th December

Liverpool 21st April

Sounds more impressive than it actually is given they have conceded 2+ goals in Cup competitions seven times since then.

Dont play Laporte as LB, he didn't do well the last time he played there against Liverpool.

I hope Laporte & Stones start in the middle.

Walker on the right, Danilo on the left.

Gundogan on the bench please.
U right Laporte didnt play well back then but he wasnt so good as a CB also as he is now.
It was not long after he arrived and he still try to adjust.
I think he is the only one who can stop Salah ,I wont play Zinchenko It would be a suicide

My big fear for this game is that it reminds me of when Leicester came to ours in their championship season, their main strength goes up against our main weakness. We all knew before that game that they were going to sit deep, let us have loads of possession but then have the capability to counter attack us at speed. That's exactly what happened then and I'm expecting the same this time. Having said that, we are a far better outfit now than we were then so we should be able to create decent chances against them. We just need to take them.

To add to it, we had drawn 0-0 with them at their place and should have won from the penalty spot :)

But seriously, I think the parallels end there. Nobody really saw Leicester coming. Liverpool are rolling into town like a smashed up bus, accompanied by a cavalcade of media lapdogs.

Dippers will play deep & hit long balls on the break. They have no need to win the game, just not lose, with that in mind we need to utilise a fast back line, Walker, Danilo, Stones & Laporte. Sadly Komps has no place starting but should we get in front would be a big asset off the bench when they need to attack from behind.

Don't think Pep will but maybe Kun & Jesus up top could cause them more problems too.

I’m interested to see the whole team but think who Pep chooses as the wide men will be a big sign of who he really trusts.

Given we are going to have a makeshift left back then Sterling is the obvious choice on the right as he is a more reliable tracker back....and if so I hope he goes for Bernie on the left as he’s so much more energetic than Mahrez.

But....Sane could work havoc down the left working in tandem with Dave, allowing Sterling to go right. The Sane/Sterling combo is IMO our best one but does Pep trust Sane enough??
