I hope Ederson goes long a direct a bit as well if Sane and Sterling start. Hit that channel between Lovren and Arnold. They’re vulnerable there and I’m still not sure about their keeper.
 
How times have changed.

Liverpool home and away is now our biggest game of the season.

Hopefully Salah will be booked for simulation after being clearly fouled by Walker in the penalty area.

What a goal that would have been - 1st half when Ederson and defence played it through to Fern, and he fed Mahrez who took it in his stride, ran half the length of the pitch and curled it just wide. Thought City boys showed a lot of bottle at Southampton, particularly Zinchenko. Time to get behind them all now.

How many half hearted challenges did he put in at southampton ?
In his defence have never ever seen a player control/drop a ball like him.then then usual start to run across the pitch before losing it and then turning and chasing his own mistake a la walker style without the pace.
70% of his shots miss the target.but manages to find his face with his hands everytime to indicate it was close in his eyes,when in fact he should of scored or passed to teamates who are waving their arms in disbelief at him.!
 
DAnilo at left back to counter Salah coming in, I don’t think like the game at Liverpool our full backs will bomb forward Pep will leave it upto the midfield to create a run everything 3-1 City

I'm hoping it's just taking time for him to settle in, But I agree with you regarding missing chances, Pulling out of challenges (That's the main one that really gets on my nerves). I think Sergio got frustrated v Saints with that tackle he put in getting booked, Just before the tackle Mahrez never bothered his ass to put in a challenge.
