Well spotted. You’re obviously not a footwear salesman.

Given Walker's poor form and the fact that Danilo has looked uncomfortable at LB when played there in the past, I would go with Danilo at RB and Laporte on the left. Vinnie and Stones in the middle.
Dinho holding with Silva and Kev in front and Sterling and Bernardo either side of Aguero, with Bernardo being able to drop back to bolster midfield and Raz also able to go up top with Kun.
Let's 'ave it!!!
If I remember correctly, we tried to sell him to Stoke but he wouldn't go so you may well be right.Laporte played there in the cl at their gaf. I thought he was horrific.
He is an unbelievable centre back and imo is where he should be played.
Left back is a problem at the moment. Last season I thought Delph was outstanding in that role but was shafted out as soon as Mendy came back and he just hasn’t got back into the groove. He’s played Zinchenko there and I don’t understand it. Given what Delph did last season, the moment Mendy got hurt it should have been him back in that position.
I may be wrong here, but I don’t think Pep is a fan of Delph and it is showing.

For a guy who's played midfield his whole life, i think Delph did better than alright last season and VERY rarely put a foot wrong. In the last few weeks he's made some big mistakes but Pep defo trusts him because of his ability to keep the ball and his ability to generally have decent positional sense. He doesn't trust Alexs as much as he is often caught out of position, if that wasn't the case i'm sure he'd be playing a lot more than he has in bigger games. Either way, neither are good enough to be starters in that position and if you're not good enough to possibly start then i don't think we should have gone into the season relying on them there, even more so considering Mendy's long history of poor fitness. The moment Mendy got hurt Delph was playing left back again this season but he looked terrible & was making mistake after mistake. Then he put Zinchenko in who looked just as uncomfortable & he got caught out, Delph went back in against Leicester & lost us the game he was to blame for both goals. Zinchenko isn't brilliant at left back but he doesn't make as many mistakes as Delph there.
Spot on
We need our best players in their best positions
Laporte CB
Danillo RB on current form
LB is the problem but we shouldn't create another problem by trying to solve it.
The build up to this feels a lot like the Leicester City game in February 2016, where it was win and be back in the title race, lose and it's over.
I know it's a very different (and much better) team, but so are Liverpool, and I just don't see us winning.
I really hope I'm wrong though and Pep & co. make me look like an idiot for ever doubting them.
