Echo and the bunnymen vs the smiths, coronation street vs bread, the inland revenue vs the passport office...The mersey tunnel vs the magnificent glass bridge of eccles.
Now is the time, ladies and gentlemen of bluemoon, to stand and be counted. Now is the time for the mighty kippax curry pie to do battle against a cup of watery cabbage scouse... The cabin vs the conti, there can only be one winner.

Why are people not getting it?

With a passion I fucking hate Liverpool. We are going into our biggest game of the season which just happens to be against them.

The night before it I’m not going to sit here talking about which of their players will get in our fucking team.

Half and half wearing scalf brigade can discuss away but not one of those red cnuts gets a sniff in our team. Not one.
I'd have that left back of their's.

Wouldn’t mind Robertson and Van dyke. Their front three aren’t bad either.

Last season's total destruction/obliteration/annihilation (5 - 0) of a result has been airbrushed from history. I wonder why ? Couldn't be anything to do with the Liverpool media mafia could it - and their presenter friends who dare not criticise their team.

As I see it - at Anfield it's You'll never walk alone before the game, quiet until 90, then You'll never walk alone again. Presenters then go on about YNWA as though they're a choir of angels, when history says they're largely anything but.

You'll never walk alone (unless you're the goalkeeper in a Champions League final).

That's the secret! Let's pack the stadium with tarts later. Screaming banshees of the world join together for the cause, i'll raise your russ abott with all the sophisticated finery of bett lynch. Bring it on...

Do me a favour.

Don’t ever compare me to those twats.

As for it being a tight match, I haven’t suggested otherwise so I’m not entirely sure why your bringing that one to the table.

All I’ve said is that discussing which players of theirs would get in our team the night before a game of this magnitude is something the soft twats with half and half scarfs would do.

I don’t dispute it will be tight and don’t dispute they are quality so have no blinkers to remove.

You’ve completely missed the point I was making.

I think it’s a pretty normal debate. Surely saying only three Liverpool players would get in our team in a compliment to this City side? I hate scouscers as much as anyone, I despise them. But recognising they’ve got some quality players is hardly being a ‘soft twat’.

Win this game 2-0 and nobody and I mean nobody will forget it for a long long time.

I know this will come across as daft but I just hope there's a result. If they win, it's over. If we win then we're right back in it, possibly even favourites. A draw will mean we will probably have to win every game to have a chance. At least ifd we're ten points behind we can go all in on the three cup competitions where we already have favourable draws.
You're right, it does come across as daft
