Thought exactly the same for the Chelsea game ,was convinced Grealish would start in a big match where ball retention was vital , but Pep as usual surprised a few , agree Ake has to play he is a defender first and foremost and our best chance of keeping Saah quiet

Ake was very poor vs Wolves and is currently injured. Like Walker and Dias, he hasn't been in top form. Given he will be back from injury, it's not really obvious he'll be the best option vs Salah.
 
So Ederson, Ake and Kovacic all pulled out of their respective teams pending international games. Keep them in Manchester and ensure they are fit for the Liverpool game, well done City.
 
A plastic skem rats just had a 50 quid bet on this game,draw no bet. I've just put a 10er on them to win at 4-1 which covers any potential loss. One born every minute hey :)

I don't expect us to give any updates other than to give off 'doubtful' vibes until the teams are announced.
Prepare to be pleasantly surprised. The half-time withdrawal was merely wrapping him in cotton wool for the run of games after the international break.

Who do you think will be impacted more with the Argentina v Brazil match being played next Wednesday before the Saturday? Doesn't give much recovery time for travel and time difference.
Noted that Ederson didn't travel.
