I think our boys will do us proud today. The only big game I have seen us choke in in recent years was the CL final which was a first of its kind and not comparable to today. We've been stitched up by Refs in a few big ones, but by and large we show up.

And there is more pressure on Liverpool. The media has been hyping this game up for months as the day they will stroll into the Etihad and knock us cold. Well their record is terrible at our place - a good deal worse than our recent performances at the cult home. So as nervous as all of us are feeling, the cult mob will be having it worse.

This will be the second consecutive home match I will miss today - a record I'm not proud of.
I started feeling unwell on Tuesday night, and had to forgo the Athleti game. I then quickly found that I had the dreaded stomach bug going round, and it's only now that I can cough without consequence! I'm not risking the journey until feel better, but I will be there in spirit (or at least with spirit).
Hopefully, not a close game, but with Alty in charge, he will do his best to obey OMR's instructions for the desired result.
