Can't remember the exact details but the new owners came out about a month ago with the fact that they had no short or medium term intention of going for a new stadium, said they were going to 'upgrade' Anfield.
How much money will it cost them to upgrade the stadium a couple of million I would expect and when building work is ongoing I think they cant use the stands they are working on.

can't find the follow up to this where they confirm that the intention for the foreseeable future is to stay at Anfield...
