Looking forward to this now it’s here the place will be bouncing 5pm kick off I’m one who’s pleased it’s not at Wembley, talking my daughter so suits us selfishly.. but think it’ll make for a better game and atmosphere. Pretty confident as well for a good result for us as well.
Up the blues.

No matter how the media want to percieve this game as a"friendly" it is far from it , the rivalry between the clubs has now elevated to another level , didnt really mind the Dippers until the coach attack and the total disrespect they now show our football club. Always considered hate as a wasteful emotion but not when it comes to these ignorant and arrogant scouse bastards.
No doubt if the Dippers do lose they will right it off as a pre-season kick about but if they win it will be sending a message , fortunately our fan base are more grounded and will not be bragging about a Community Shield victory , we will take any result with a pinch of salt and accept the reality , it means nothing and the hard work starts next week and the defence of yet another hard earned league title.
But a repeat of the 5-0 would be nice :)

Mane foul in the charity shield. Dirty twat

There’s a lot of misplaced anger about that incident, some bordering on rawk-like delusion, but it wasn’t even a bad foul, nothing much more than the sort of a little pull on a sleeve that we see from most players in most games. Certainly not the sort of foul that gets anyone castigated as being a dirty twat.
No blue could’ve been happy that Sane was injured but it wasn’t a dirty foul - you should go look at it and you’ll form another opinion.
