This we should go out to wipe the floor with them in every game we play against them show them we are the best team again.

Agreed and why we should go full strength? They will be and anyone can get injured in training so no reason to not go full tilt for this and set our marker down to these twats that we are going all out to destroy this coming season!

Using a small letter in its own just doesn’t cut it. If you really want to show how much you hate a team you should substitute a rude word into their name eg Ushited or Loserpool or something. If you really want the world to know how badly you hate them to hate to put in asterisks as though their name itself is a swear word, eg U****d.

That makes you a proper blue.
l'pool is the easiest.

Ortega
Walker Dias Ake Cancelo
Rodri Bernardo
Mahrez De Bruyne Grealish
Alvarez

Ederson Stones Wilson-Esbrand Phillips Gundogan McAtee Foden Palmer Haaland

Ortega starts - may not play again until first league cup game in November.

None of the 3 who couldn't travel to the U.S. start the game, all 3 come on in the second half. 6 subs in the community shield I believe?

Presuming that Laporte doesn't make this one - if he does he'd take JWE's place on the bench. Likewise Cucurella or another left back in the unlikely event we sign one this week.

I tend to agree that Alvarez will start up front for this one, far more effective in the press than a half fit Haaland.

We haven't had an ideal preseason, our 'best' 11 could do with game time together.Hppefully that means the Covid crew feature.

Seriously mate, it’s a meaningless game, or would you call it a treble if we won it and the league and the cup?
If we get 4 or 6 points against them in the league this year, do you honestly think any of their supporters are going to be spending the season giving it the ‘yeah, but who won the Community Shield?’ if they were to win on Saturday?

But, we do call the 18-19 side the Fourmidables / the Domestic Quadruple winners.

Anyone planning to drive using "via gellia" buxton -Derby route beware Pop festival will cause major traffic chaos on this route.
Not sure who is headlining. Might be easier to use A6.
