Well if we're going off analysis/ ratings then your Lewis shout is complete nonsense.

Saying that I don't wanna be a dick with you because I've always appreciated your posts and tweets ...xo
I was being my usual facetious self.
Awarding any one of them motm for that gutless display, would be like asking who in On The Buses should get the Best Actor Academy Award.

Oh and cheers.

I wonder how anyone is voting for Doku, he was great for 10 yards going past the full back, then attricious doing anything else, volume of going past the full back is nothing compared to some end product, of which there was none.

I watched at work with a (very depressed) arsenal fan, at the start of the game he kept saying how exciting Doku was, by full time he was telling me he'd fit in perfectly at arsenal, exciting over 10 yards but has no end product whatsoever, I thought that was quite damning.

The end product depends also on his teammates. Doku was involved in the first 5 goals at Ipswich where our players attacked the box in numbers. His goal/assist per minutes ratio is better than Foden's or Savinho's. Also, he's not 27, he's 22.

His main problem is not lack of productivity, he contributed in big games towards the end of last season, but his injuries. He doesn't play often enough. When he plays he isn't anonymous. Our only player who looked dangerous in both games vs. Liverpool this season.

I think both Doku and Savinho would also benefit from two proper overlapping fullbacks creating some space for them, allowing them to make their own inside runs - it’s no coincidence that production from our wingers (goals particularly) has dropped through the floor since we started with the inverted fullbacks thing.

Khusanov was outstanding considering the opposition. Doku and Sav were decent as well. As for KDB and Foden they just drifted in and out of the game

I am not convinced that the inverted full back ploy has any long term value. Initially it created a tactical advantage but its limitations allied to readjustments by our opponents has reduced its effectiveness. I would strongly welcome the return of two specialist full backs if the right kind can be found.

Like a Walker or a Kolorov (only better)

In fairness I know nothing about football but Jeremy was the one who got me off my feet all game.

Abu was great, and despite the hate Rico had a good game.
