Pre match i claimed if we win, bernardo would be motm. Bernardo put in a motm captains display today, he was brilliant but still doesnt get near the top 3. Doku by a clear mile, all our threat came from him. Nunes runner up who was outstanding once more and nico (I'm cheating and not adding a surname because they were both fantastic) rounding out the top 3.

A great team performance in which every player played his part. Excellent performances from Nunes, Gonzalez, O'Reilly, Foden, Silva and Dias but couldn't really go with anyone other than Doku. Magical. Totally destroyed the player that pocketed Vinicius Jr. midweek.

I mean, it’s not exactly a competition today is it. Doku by an absolute mile. But that’s no slight on the rest of them - aside from Gvardiol’s hospital passing, Cherki being a bit off it and Savinho being a complete waste of space, everyone today was 9/10 for me. Particularly the full backs and Nico G.

Doku was just head and shoulders above everyone else. (Not literally, obviously!)

Thought everyone played well with Nico O and Nunes particularly good.

Only player slightly below par was Gvardiol for me who was caught on his heels a few times.

Undoubtedly, without any question or doubt it could only be Doku

Doku reminds me of a young Peter Barnes back in the mid 70's. He too was untouchable and like a slippery eel they just could not catch.

Doku is on his day unplayable, what's more his "day" is becoming more and more of a regular occurrence and will hopefully be on 9 out of 10 occasions forward.
