Liverpool - post match thread.

Much better in the 2nd half, but all things are relative, cos we were fucking wretched in the 1st. Mignolet didn't have a single shot to save. Decent effort from Fernandinho, Silva and Stones. Spineless dismal shit from Aguero, DeBruyne, Sterling, Otamendi and of course Kolarov. If you want to sum the game up just look at the last 2 minutes. Instead of piling pressure onto a nervy defence, we let them lump it down the touchline where Otamendi fucks around like the short arsed lightweight that he is, falls over, concedes a free kick, and instead of immediately cutting the corner flag off as an option, we let them walk the ball down to it and run down the clock.

Garbage. The defence is a shambles. Kolarov, Otamendi and the clown in goal should not be at the club

You can't expect to get a result at a place like Anfield when KDB, Aguero and Yaya don't even get off the coach

Sorry to say but Pep is the right man at the wrong time. He's only here for 3 seasons and that is nowhere near enough time to build the team he wants

What a pathetic display.

Pep hasn't got a clue in the Premier League. Great coach in Spain, great coach in Germany, but he does not 'get' English football and isn't adapting. Whether Pep likes it or not, English football is extremely physical and direct and he must adapt. Conte has adapted very easily and is dominated the league.

Just look at Liverpool's goal. That free kick should go to the back post where our big players aim to win the header. A chipped pass out to the touch line - what on earth is that? No attempt to stop the cross from Zabaleta. Terrible defending at the back post from Kolarov. Basic, basic things for defenders in English football.

I'm not sure we'll finish top four with this group of players, United are three points behind and they'll get more points than us between now and the end of the season.

Our record in big games over the last 2 years is downright embarrassing when you consider the money spent.

That was as bad as I'd feared.

Dithering as usual. No fluidity.

Pep needs to change our tactics to suit our squad ...or drop half of them for the kids.

Incredibly bored of this sideways shite that doesn't pentrate the oppositions defence.

I'm hoping Pep wants to play a more direct style, however, feels that his hands are tied until he gets Jesus.

If it continues once we have Sterling, Sané and Jesus fit and fighting, I really don't know where to go for answers.

Liverpool wanted it more, Aguero and DeBruyne need less smoke blowing up their arses and a rocket going up there instead....Sergio maybe a legend but at the moment he is fucking shit and spends to much time moaning. Otamendi cannot pass and gives endless stupid fouls away. The rest were just plain average, seems to me there needs to be some soul searching because these players look less than arsed to be honest.

Liverpool on the other hand are no great shakes but run their bollocks off for the team, manager and fans and on that basis deserve the win and deserve their place in the table.

Toure looks like he's put his weight back on and slow as a donkey. Sterling was crap again and this tippy tappy shit were playing at the back is so awful to watch. Liverpool won this comfortably and they weren't that great. Looked like they were playing in second gear.

Think a lot of the criticism a bit harsh. Thought we were pretty good in second half and Liverpool rarely threatened. One shot, one goal, as usual.

Eagerly await Jesus' introduction.

No leadership, no game plan, no obvious formation, we have stopped creating chances, it's just tippy tappy between the half way line and the box and repeat.

I know I know... He is an outstanding manager... I really don't want to criticise him, I have no authority to even question him... I know he will come good, but for god sake he's starting to lose credibility... Our play is utterly predictable, and does he really think Kolarov is good enough to start a game for City? My wife is a scouser and he's just shit on my new year... Been saying it for 3 seasons now please get rid of Kolarov, please! He was Liverpools best player this evening. Gave the ball away, then did Jack shit to stop the header

I'm not convinced he's the right man at all, I feel like he's bitten off more than he can chew with this league. I can see him walking at the end of the season if things carry on like they are.
