And this is why he may be on his way in the summer, we are all emotionally attached to Aguero but Pep isn't. He will be looking at the cool facts of th last week. If we had Lewandowski up from we would more than likely still been in Europe and two points better off today.

Love Aguero but h isn't clinical enough.

stones in the second half was absolutely brilliant,same as otamendi,aguero looked shagged,he played well and got better as the 2nd half wore on,yaya has gone,his legs cannot carry him anymore,and he didn't play mid week.

A striker who is not still battling puberty. Good as Jesus, Sterling and Sane are, we need a 20+ goal a season striker to win the PL.

Disagree. Two key areas are still lacking: Finishing and defensive positioning. Everything between them is an improvement on your average Pellegrini game. And it's only getting better.

If you are referring to the ref decisions then it wasn't, but don't forget their misses and the saves (as well as our misses). On the balance of play we edged it, but a draw was fair.

We deserved to nick that game and aguero did miss a couple again but his overall play was far more industrious - just don't think we will get that old aguero back as this new style of play is very different to what he's been used to but still no excuse for the sitters he missed today - otamendi and stones were very good

Good game and thought we played well

Should have had a penalty but to be honest it was a difficult one to spot and I didnt see it till it was pointed out by the pundits.

Great finish by Kun again....he missed a couple of other ones but without him we would have lost...great ball in from KDB who strangely was better once moved outside (its usually the other way around).....he was defensively poor in central areas and some of his passing again was crap and he nearly gave them a couple of chances to break on us BUT that cross made up for it.

Liverpool didnt press us anywhere near as much as I expected them to...our wide players hugging the touch line made them thing twice about it. Thought Sane could have done more today but sterling was showing up everywhere,,,,,just a shame he didnt get a goal (should have had a penalty though)

The defence which i have criticised so much was very solid. Stones, otto and and ferna all played well. Clichy i thought was very unlucky...soft penalty after he did well to recover from slipping......he was much improved going forwards as well.

We def looked a bit leggy for about 20 mins in the second half but we finished the stronger team.....liverpool don't play great all around football,,,they play on the break and play off scraps......

Couple of very good saves of WC - solidifying his place as number 1 even more.

Think we edged it just but 1-1 may be a fair result

If miliner was playing for city and by a miracle he did that tackle on sterling and not red carded with a pen rewarded he media would be all over that and make a massive deal out of it.
