Liverpool - post match thread.

perhaps because getting this group pf players to where it is has been the hardest task he has had to face....he has said this much this week that this is his biggest test as a manager....everyone said he wouldn't be able to play his brand of football in the prem league..he has shown them to be wrong (again) against the darlings of the media

Fair enough get what you're saying for me personally it's a tad over the top

The Liverpool fans were livid with the refs first 20 minutes. I don't think we'd have had much of an argument if he had sent Yaya off. That looked really bad in real time.

We just keep having chances falling to Silva, Sterling, and Aguero and none of them are lethal enough right now. kDB is so far off the boil in front of goal that he's not much different from David.

If 'pool 's penalty was genuine so was City's claim. Which one ?.
City should have won 3-2. Allana' 'air shot + pen. City - Aguero and Ferny should have scored at one point. KDB hit the post.
Cracking game which City deserved to win.

Really enjoyed that game!

On a sidenote, KDB is playing very poorly, his on ball into the box which results in a goal masks his overall performance. Such a strange one

Pep is happy because his team played 5 games in the span of 14 days, Pool played 2 games and despite that City outplayed them. They showed a lot of character this game coming from being dumped out of the CL.

considering candlepool have played around 20 games less than us this season we finished the far stronger team , they were playing on the break and yet again getting the decisions from the officials , quite sure Oliver didnt see Clichy touch the ball before colliding with Firmdivio because that changes the deicision altogether. He definitely didnt notice judas's tackle on Sterling because it was a sending off and a penalty all day long , we have outplayed Spuds,Goons,Dippers and the Chavs at home and got three points , just need the scum to come and steal a point or three to complete the set. This was a season defining week and we have failed , so now we pin our hopes on the FA Cup which was our third priority at the beginning of the season , its another trip to Wembley so maybe we should'nt knock it , some teams wait decades for that , i know i did.

Entertaining to say the least albeit between 2 sides with similar deficiencies on the day.
There was the slight "reaction" for the first 20 then pretty equal. Apart from Oliver.
Clichy proved me wrong and had a decent match and Otamendi made some good interventions but just doesn't read the forward options and can't pass.
I know KDB is getting dogs abuse but his passes were millimetres from being visionary.
Silva exceptional as ever and Sane continues to impress.
All in all a good point and one I didn't expect.

What a load of shit. Stones and otemendi were fantastic today, played like that all season and were up there with chelski

They where excellent, agreed.

The poster i replied to doesn't agree lol

Also the amount of people that were questioning why De Bruyne was still on the pitch even if he isn't at his best recently, the goal should sum it up nicely for you... No other player that we have could have played Aguero in like that(the speed in which he got the ball under control and played the perfect pass), without him we would have lost the game it's as simple as that.

We just cant put teams away which is really frustrating.

Though Stones and Otamendi were excellent and Dinho put in a shift and a half.

Biggest concern for me though is the full backs. Clichy was really poor again and WTF was Sagna doing when he came on? He was woeful. Fullbacks HAVE to be a priority in the summer

Yes this was my view from East stand

We should've finished that ourselves, but ffs how many times are we going to get fucked over by the officials.
All the big games, we've had match changing decisions go against us.
