Liverpool - post match thread.

Great response from the team and a good game allover to watch but the time has come where i won't be giving them ****s at the fa anymore money the officals in our games this season have shown a unfair biasness to the opposition! Gutted I'm not going to wembley to support my team but I'm done with the fa!

Good performance.
Hope it will give them confidence to come back like that, when we could so easily have bottled it.
We ain't tough enough yet. Hopefully next year will be much much better.
 
Just seen the Liverpool pen - very harsh. Sterlings is stonewall. What's the refs assistant doing?

By the way, if I remember well, the prematch thread reflected anything but confidence and optimism. Now I read posts saying draw is not enough. Yeah... Well guess what, Guardiola and players agree, they never settled for a draw and did everything they could to win. Just seems they're not good enough to deserve some people's appreciation and support, are they? A shame really...

City fans should be proud of their team. Personally I was once again moved, watching City playing is really an experience...

PS. Lost for words to describe Kevin's assist. He deserves much much more, his stats should be better, if only we were more clinical. I'll say it once again, if he believes in himself he can become the best player in the world...
PS2. Had we converted the Leroy - Sergio combination, it would be the goal of the decade. World class play...

All correct De Bruyne also great shift although he's looking tired and clearly out of form. Saved us with that cross for Aguero though.

Very true , but Lewandowski and three Barca musketeers also miss chances though , every great striker does and Kane has missed some right sitters but i doubt the Spuds fans give him crap on their forums. Perhaps a seperate forum called Bluemoan could be created for all the manic depressives , it would be like a self help group and leave this forum to the happy clappers :)
 
I thought we'd struggle today having played in midweek and so it proved. It could have gone either way. Liverpool are not a top 4 side in my opinion because we were there for the taking.

I know Jesus is back soon, but I would give Kelechi a run now. We got in some great attacking situations but we don't take advantage. Happens game after game.

You're very poor again.

I thought Liverpool would play at a higher tempo to take advantage of our midweek game, but they started slowly. They probably should have won and will be kicking themselves

This game highlights our lack of finishing quite clearly. Imagine how this season would have gone if we had Jesus, hopefully he is back within the next 2 weeks.
 
Frustrating but you can see we aren't a million miles away from this all clicking. You can tell we're lacking quality in certain areas and once thats corrected we're going to be very very good.

Thought the referee was a shambles again today, granted I haven't seen any tv replays.

Growing into the shirt with every game. Pep will make him a star when he gets a settled defence around him. Currently has to do too much covering around the flanks due to our poor full backs. Otamendi good game today too.
