Could have sworn they only drew against us at home.

Also:

''.....No one Liverpool player was designated to man-mark the Spaniard, but whether it was Charlie Adam, Jordan Henderson or Lucas Leiva, they each beavered away to stop his supply and close his space....''

No - what they actually did, was take turns to kick Silva, whilst the Ref gave him no protection whatsoever.

Exactly what I thought. First watch I thought he was just having off game second watch I saw him getting kicked to pieces.

thought liverpool played well, and we showed signs of fatigue,. the worst thing yesterday was watching suarez play acting like a soft woman.

Thing is with Liverpool is thats the best theyve got and they still only got a draw because of a deflected goal, we can play miles better than that maybe another 2 gears

The og totally changed the game yday we were fully in control to that point and reina should have been off. Not read or heard that in any report.

I text this to my mate immediately after the match:
Never a 2nd booking! L'pool are shit, a flat back 9 then boot it to Suarez who tried to win free-kicks then hope Adam can put a good cross in then pressure the opposition from there. Shit!!

I think that sums them up quite well

Everton did this, they packed the midfield so much that there was no room for a true striker.

Just packing the midfield isn't a strategy.

Packing the midfield is a strategy to avoid a pasting. SSN had it right last night for the first time this season - 'Man City held at Anfield' - when did we last have a headline like that. Packing the midfield might diminish the potency of Silva, but we have strikers like Mario, Aguero and Dzeko who can score goals out of nothing, add the goal scoring talents of the rest and we have a squad that is a nightmare for opposition managers.
