Liverpool stories needed for 25/8 programme

The last time I went to Anfield was when we went as Champions after winning the league in 68. I was in pub near the ground with a group of City fans, we just talking when a scouser approached our group and glassed one of my mates slashing him from the bridge of his nose for about 6 inches under his eye. My mate was scarred for life and was lucky not to lose an eye. We had not previously spoken to scouser or done anything to upset him. They really are luverley people.

They generally came unstuck when they came to Maine road but going there or Goodison wasn't for the faint hearted for sure!

Ahh there's that old scouse wit and humour we have heard so much about eh?
"It's that unique Kop humour."

Yes GDM I bet the laughter it invoked in our fair City felt like a nuclear explosion 44 miles away to our beloved scouse cousins!

In 2001 Liverpools hard cases out of the North Stand shouting "come on you manc c**ts" with big grins on their faces until they got to Claremont Road where hundreds of City fans charged them and chased them all over #citystories

Remember that very, very well. Owen had just scored three in a 0-3 loss. City lads went mental that day. Around the same time we played Crewe in the League Cup and a dipper pal of mine came to the game. He admitted once we got back to the car he was absolutely terrified walking through Moss Side that night.

scouser spat in my face when i was 11 years old after a game. quickly followed by the adults i was with chasing the **** out of manchester #citystories
