Didn't deny there was a release clause though or even one that allows him to leave for one of a group of unspecified teams (e.g. one which says 'a leading team in a major European league' or 'a team currently in the top ten UEFA ranking').
Or possibly that he could go if they don't get CL. Paying him way above their other players might well suggest that they know he's off soon anyway and they'll only have to do that for a season.prestonibbo_mcfc said:Prestwich_Blue said:Interesting how Suarez denied there was a release clause allowing him to go to Real or Barca saying "as far as I'm aware there isn't a clause which suggests a priority for a specific team." I reckon he was given assurances about his contract after the Arsenal fiasco.
IMO Liverpool said to him something along the lines of "Stay 1 more season, get us Champions League (or try at least)
and then you are free to do as you like".

Brendas armband and the constant referral to the 96 sealed the deal for me.
The blase way they treated Crystal Palace which came back to bite them on their arses.
What an utter bunch of deluded mawkish candle obsessed cunts they really are, I can only imagine what the state of play in the media would be IF they had won it.
Remember this is a club that has never won the PL title I for one can't remember City fans being anything more than philosophical and self effacing when we had our wilderness years.

They realised plenty of neutrals wanted them to beat us on the anniversary so continued wearing it on their shirts and their twat of a manager wearing the armband like an SS member in order to drum up support in their bid to win the league the despicable bastardskaren7 said:I have just thrown up in my mouth
Like any club, they'll want replica shirt sales. If it's on those...
