It's been really sad listening to all this negative crap from Liverpool fans about our great club. All of a sudden we are all 'plastic fans' and are a joke club with no history.

It's particularly odd as for the past 20 years I've had Liverpool fans telling me that we were a proper club and the true fans of Manchester. I've been told dozens of times how we are their second favourite club.

To be fair they are hurting pretty bad and are just lashing out, none of them seem to be lashing out in the right direction, their stupid manager who has become a one trick pony is the one the should be having a go at he is the one who blew it
He's on talksport at 8.30 is Brenda,I Wonder if Brazil will ask him if he blew it?

I should imagine it will be what an amazing season and only city's money stopped you.

How can they lash out at a man who they've built up to godlike status? They'd look just as foolish/fickle if they did that.

Fucking hell.

My thesis is that we all participate in each of these roles from time to time depending upon our investment, interests and level of consciousness.  I am not selecting people for these groups, but it is very possible they occur naturally in our economic environment.

For example, if you asked me about Man U team body odor, I would be more of a passive or an indifferent observer.  If I was surveyed on some other person's nasal spray applications (let say Mr. Ferguson for example), I might actually care about the outcomes and not how it happens.  However, when it is something that I care very deeply about  (such as LFC losing the title to the Oligarch hidden behind curtain #2), the process is pretty important to me.

As a result, I want to know how the oligarch made his money.  I want to know if his wealth is tied to others poverty.  I want to know what it took for the oligarch to capture the title, financial commitments.  And most importantly, I want our supporters to know the line that we will not cross in order to become like them (in this mimicking multi-billion dollar industry).  It is important to know what makes Liverpool, Liverpool in a changing world football marketplace.  This is essence of a moneyball approach and a supporters' mentality.

Typical Liverpool pseudo intellectual bollocks, who does not know the history of his own club, or thinks that we don't know it, yes they have history and some very dark history

They don't mind crossing the line of supporting a racist biter though.

Scousers get humour, don't they, don't they?

A big rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone at the Etihad if we win the title.

Delicious.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more humourless bunch than Liverpool fans. If we sang YNWA, I dread to think of the response on Merseyside. The incredulation and sheer outrage from Liverpool fans because we dared to mocked Gerrard, was almost as disturbing as it was funny.
A rendition of YNWA would probably see them spontaneously combust. The phone network would collapse as they all try and ring talksport at the same time.

They only get humour when they are the providers of the humour.
