The word on the tweets is that Luis is signing a new contract which will allow him to move next season to a CL team, basically a proper buy out clause rather than the rather excellent one we put in his last contract stating we'd listen to bids at £40m but not have to accept them. Probably bollocks but there's a glimmer of hope

That would probably be a big mistake if true... It's obvious that he would have been under the impression that the move would be allowed if £40m was offered, regardless of whether the words actually said that. If he is then forced into signing a new contract just to get the clause he thought he already had I can see him falling short of 100% commitment. That could come back to bite you.

Potentially however...those who know him best, the players he trains with daily, have said he'll always give 110% and doesn't sulk...time will tell, the new contract thing is probably bollocks.

Another yoof signing through the door, this kids meant to be very highly rated

He'll get at least one more ban next season on top of the games he has to serve. So will be missing for nearly a third of the season anyway.

Liverpool playing in front of over 90,000 in Melbourne tonight. The fans have really showed up the Utd fans that were in Sydney the other night. Even thought it's a friendly, it has been a pretty entertaining game.

95k mate, that's after coming from 88k in Indonesia where Chelsea have had to give tickets away to fill the stadium. Joyous. The rendition of YNWA was class at both, been a great tour - good to show the players exactly how many people are rooting for them week in week out and the passion of the followers all over the world.

95,000? Is it at the MCG, Jimi?
