I am not even sure what your point is ? None of the big teams have had the perfect preseason due to the world cup and so none of them have hit the season at their peak form. . I was very impressed with City and said as much when discussing City, but this is about Liverpool and why they have less intensity than last season.

As for putting my opinion forward in a confident manner I don't apologise for that. If somebody cannot tell the difference between someone expressing the opinion they hold to be true and stating a fact that is his or her own problem. I give my opinions and I am happy to debate any disagreements. If we still do not agree then I am happy to say we will have to agree to disagree.

I never defended Liverpool at all or made any comparisons to City. I was merely addressing why they lacked the intensity they had at the Etihad last season. It's not my problem you cannot follow the argument and jump to conclusions.

Just reading their City thread, they don't seem to like us as fans because we sang nasty songs to them, that they don't understand is in terms of taking the piss they are an open goal, I still get fans from other teams saying to me thank fuck that City won it, because the the hyperbole would have been over the top, I mean they were writing songs and poems (and now even a book) about coming second.

I suspect that there is an underlying sense of insecurity, because they know that last season could have been a flash in the pan, the game with Spuds on Sunday will be interesting I hope hope spuds stuff them, the fall out will be a joy to watch

When are they going to get the message, that we aren't going away? September 2008 was very nearly six years ago and the time before it is never coming back, no matter how much they hope and pray it is.
