They're equally odious clubs. Hopefully someone else can take the fourth spot.

Fair enough. Many of you tried to warn us about Europe and extra games, and rotation.

I never expected a title challenge, but I did think we'd at least make top 4 fairly comfortably.

We needed a better defense this season, not looking like it's happening so far.

I don't get why Rodgers is (1) rotating the defense--choose Sakho or Skrtel and just stick with them, and (2) persisiting with Gerrard in midfield. You'll laugh but we need both Allen and Henderson in midfield. I'd go Can, HEnderson, Allen. Gerrard and Lucas are too slow.

We can't rely on a 19 year old to get us into Europe.

But you were right about the trouble we're going to face this season.
Too soon to tell. If you go back 12 months City lost game after game away from home. It takes time to gel

The difference is we were missing Kompany and Aguero for some of those defeats. Bottlepool have 4 average centre backs, GBH is well and truly shot to pieces. He makes Barry look fast. there's a real chance Southampton can finish above them.

The two biggest problems at Liverpool are Gerrard and Rodgers. Gerrard is obviously past it and Rodgers hasn't got the strength character or the permission from above to drop him.
I read a comment about last season with Suarez telling Rodgers to sub Sturridge which he duly did. That's not management, a player should never have that much power. It seems Gerrard wields a similar influence.

Last year was the perfect storm for Liverpool. The rags in disarray, Chelsea and City both bedding in new managers. Suarez with a point to prove, the form of Sturridge and the emergence of Sterling.
Liverpool fans and pundits alike all heaped undeserved praise on a manager who was lucky. Everyone else sees him as a fraud. Tactically incompetent but says the right things about LFC so he must be a genius.
It isn't Europe that's killing Liverpool this season. You've lost your best player, Gerrard shouldn't be playing half the games he does, and Rodgers is tactically naive to say the least. Last year you had all the luck. This year is showing your true standard.

This poor start by Liverpool could turn out to be the worst defence of a title in the premier league since? Well em. Last season!

I think we are to blame for Liverpools demise this season. If we hadn't come up with the Steve Gerrard sliiping song, he would be able to play all games this year in ignorant bliss.

That's the third time this year watching Liverpool on TV and its the third time I have heard the opposition fans "reminding him" by giving it to him loud and proud.

What have we done, we should be ashamed of ourselves!

There is no hiding place for starfish anymore and it may be getting to him more than he would let on.

Couldn't happen to a better person
