Liverpool Thread 2014/15

All clubs hate us now, every single club in england do. You could call it jealousy, but surely we can't be hated this much around the country due to us winning the lottery? Anyway, my point is you'd thought liverpool would have a bit of joy towards us seeing as there most hated rivals are getting stuffed every season by us.

That city thread on rawk is brilliant.

A large part of that hatred is jealousy and bitterness, but also since the advent of the FFP rules, we have been labelled as cheats, and that is a lie that we will have to live with.
They don't care about the unfairness or the legitimacy of the FFP rules. They just see us as cheating our way to the top.
It will be a long time before we are accepted. I just hope that whilst our star rises, Liverpool continues its slide into mediocrity.
They forget that before the Shankly era and the Moores money, they were a two bob, yoyo club. Hopefully after a few more years mismanagement they can go back to that.

The City thread on RAWK is a disgrace. For a dozen different reasons. But I well remember a few years ago when they were pissing themselves over the very idea that City might one day have a turnover of £400 million. Well, it's not so far off now.

It must be hard to be deluded and still living in 1976. Perhaps they should rename themselves as Ashestoashes.

It's as despicable a thread as any I've read on a football forum - I'm not saying this one is exactly complimentary towards them because it's not but it pales into insignificance compared to the City thread on there. I've never seen as much sanctimony and hypocrisy in one place:

The lists goes on and on. I would add, however, that we're talking a tiny minority here and this is a criticism of certain posters on RAWK rather than Liverpool fans in general. The few Liverpool fans I know are as far removed from that minority as you can possibly get.

That's something they're hilariously failing to grasp. With the increase in Champions League revenue and their position as England's fifth richest club the discrepancy between them and the top 4 will increase to an unbridgeable level.

It's a measure of how far we've come that there are really only two clubs that he could sensibly go to from us, which are Real Madrid & Barcelona.
