How arrogant can Bodgers get? Suggesting the Southampton fans were classless for booing Lallana. Stones and glass houses?

Severe lack of self-awareness. Fits in well with the Scousers.

I'm pretty sure they're both unlikely to forget as it was what they were both referring to.

This has to be a Joke..They escape FFP irregularities by saying shit like this, yet we get shafted..

Liverpool made a loss of £49.8m for the 2012-13 season, and £40.5m for the 10-month period before that but have been able to write off a big chunk of those losses as allowable stadium expenditure - the 2011-12 accounts reported that £49.6m was associated with Liverpool’s stadium costs, £35m coming from the former co-owner Tom Hick’s aborted plan to build a new stadium on Stanley Park which new owners Fenway Sports Group had to scrap.

I've had a look at the accounts. In 11/12 UKSV made a loan to Liverpool of £46.8m to pay the £37.8m outstanding on the stadium loan facility and £9m to repay part of a revolving credit facility. From memory UKSV took out a loan to pay off that loan, so the debt position didn't change, and as far as I can see paying off a loan has no impact on the clubs profit and loss (other than reduced interest payments over time).

The year before they wrote off £49.226m in new stadium impairment charge, and £393k in stadium development costs. Is this the £49.6m that is being referred to. But that is in the 10/11 accounts, which isn't subject to the first FFP reporting period.

Only the candle dippers could make such a big deal of this. Donuts indeed

When I heard this on the news I assumed they'd just changed the torches - that would have been wrong - but they've changed the entire badge. The scouse have no sense of perspective or context.
Trust the bleedin heart dippers to have a meltdown.
No doubt there'll be calls for public apologies,a public enquiry and resignation to sate the mob.

Dunkin are fucked. No amount of apologising will save them.

Read this last night, and pissed myself that they could have been so naive not to know the reaction it would cause.
