Personally I think it's going to be a sad day for the premiership to see Gerrard leave. One of the greatest players to play for Liverpool and you can't help but admire his love and devotion to the Reds. The atmosphere should be amazing on Saturday and hopefully he can leave with a good performance and a goal or two against that horrible man Pardew.......urrrrgh even typing his name makes me feel ill.

I'll be glad when this twat fucks off to the other side of the pond. Then we might stop hearing about him 24/7!

It's going to reach a crescendo between now and Sunday. I imagine the tabloids will be carrying a 16 page pullout on Saturday. Half and half Stevie and bodger scarves, I was there t-shirts, you ain't seen nothing yet! Nobody does sycophancy like scousers, bless 'em.
Never mind a candle shortage, they'll have run out of f****** matches by Saturday night!

Nothing lasts forever. We all grow older and have to move on to other things.

Stevie Starfish has had a long and illustrious career and has had the English media fawning over him for what, 15 years?

He loved Liverpool so much that he was seriously moving to the Kremlin until some Scouse thugs allegedly threatened to break his legs - or worse - and do harm to his family if he left Klanfield.

I will be glad to see the back of the diving, slipping Scouse thug.

Don't get me wrong, but didn't he want to leave for chavski, but for the scouse wanna be mafia clowns o say "If you go we will smash you up and your family"?

I know exactly what you mean mate, dont get me wrong, he was a decent (still overrated) player, but the way the media looks up too him as a god knocks me sick, they cant bear too see stevie g. Leave them for good (though they'll let us know everytime he gets a start in his new club) haha.

I dont buy the papers and never will so im lucky in that respect lol

I for one will honour Slippys career by having at least one pancake on Sunday.

I know people on here slag the Daily Mail. but just put two words into Google, pancake and liverpool. The story it brings up is amazing and it is sad that this 'role model' (like Bryan Riggs) was awarded the MBE.

Get a couple of quid on a dipper penalty, don't know which bent ref is doing the game but a good value bet for Mr Me-Starfish to finish with a goal in front of the bestest, biggest, honest, loyal etc group of fans the world has ever seen in its whole 'istoree.

yes, and put another 50p on the phantom pen being given in front of the kop, ...
Not a phantom pen but the last official outing of the Starfish!

It's Jon Moss, he likes giving a penalty or 2.
